My humble opinion...

QB - M. Leinart

RB - B. Jacobs & C. Benson

WR - S. Holmes

Qb - Phillip Rivers and his 22td to 9 int ration, well over 3k yards

a very solid receiver corps in Vincent Jackson, Eric Parker, and Antonio Gates, and if that fails a screen pass or two to LT2. Plus you have to like the division they are in.

I also like where you can get Eli Manning, Hasselbeck, & Leinert this year.

RB - Tough to find great deals, steals on these guys b/c they go so fast and so furious. From what I've seen though, Fred Taylor is coming at an incredible bargain and the guy is gold for 1000+ yards and 6 td's.

Duece Mcallister is about as stable as it gets also. Plus he's 2 years removed from his knee injury. He too is a great deal on an incredible offensive team. Bush is going 1st round and Mcallister can be had late 2nd to early 3rd.

Tatum Bell  - - not even in the guru's top 50 running back lists? He too has over 1000 yards under his belt

WR - I like Devrey Henderson, Mark Clayton, Bernard Berrian, Jerricho Cothery and his 82 receptions, Vincent Jackson, and Santana Moss seems to be going pretty late also.

That's all I'm revealing ;)

TE

McMichael

All undervalued

Ive also heard wispers about Demetrius Williams on Balt could be in the mix for a few plays :pointstosky:

Recurring RB's in this thread that may require further discussion:

B Jacobs

C Benson

And just below (for now b/c he's not been named the starter)...

D. Williams

I find all these guys very interesting b/c they are in decent situations and are currently excellent value picks in mocks. One of these guys is going to make a few owners very happy putting up RB #2, and possibly RB #1a points.

The thing is all of them will be gone by round 4, and Benson and Jacobs may very well not make it out of round 2. They aren't exactly going to be incredible draft values.

No they aren't huge values but they are the borderline #2's that guys aren't sure about which is why they're dropping into the 3rd/4th round. I don't think they'll offer huge value in the draft but say you go Gore/Manning/Benson and Benson ends up putting up 1a rb numbers. You're team's probably going to be in pretty good shape then. Just an option for guys who aren't married to RB/RB in the draft.

QB's I would say

Rothlisberger

Cutler

Lienart

RB's

D.Williams

Norwood

K.Jones

WR

Chambers

Hackett

Edwards

V.Jackson

It all depends where you draft players as well. I think the Edge for one falling to the end of the second early third is a steal.

Kitna maybe huge but how high should you draft him? I would say round 6 or later is worth it.

Some people are reaching for Lienart too. 7th or later is nice.

For QB, I like the value right now of Cutler, Leinart, Hass, Rivers. RB is kinda hard to gauge as there doesn't seem to be another Gore in this year's mix. I do like the value of DeAngelo though, and as much as I hate to say it, Caddy going in the third might also be a good value. The dude killed my team last year, and I wasn't that impressed with him when I saw him play. But having Garcia will help. Also, Gruden is on the hot seat and usually the better coaches respond with a good year...Billick last year, Holmgren, Cowher two years ago. WR I like Holmes and Brandon Marshall. I'm also keeping an eye on Eric Johnson at TE.

Trent Green - ADP 12th round

Even if you project his stats to only be 3,500 yards, 18 TDs and 15 INTs, that's not bad for a backup. And I think that's overly conservative. More realistically he'll finish around 3,700 yards, 20 TDs, and 13 INTs... with potential for more.

Those are better stats than most of the other back-up QBs who are going in rounds 7-10. I have Green ranked 13th among QBs.

Trent Green - ADP 12th round

For me that's way too high for Trent. I'd rather draft a backup with upside like Shaub, Campbell or Losman a few rounds later.

An FF draft/waiver-wire pick-up like Colston doesn't happen too often. I think Marshawn Lynch has a similar skill set as Gore, so he may have a chance as he went into a good situation. Leinart is probably the obvious choice to have anything remotely like a Brees like season... but I doubt you can get him that late.

I admit Trent comes with an signifcant injury risk. One more concussion and his career could be over.

But assuming he plays all 16 games, you have to project decent stats for him. Look at his career numbers. Even if he only reaches 75% of his 2005 stats, that's still pretty damn good.
