itsbigmoni 1 Posted October 31, 2007 For those of you who have read Blink, you probably have already taken this test. This isn't exactly a "are you racist" simple test. It relies on quick responses and focuses on your initial reaction and taps into your sub conscious. The writer of Blink, Malcom Gladwell, is half jamaican yet his results showed he favored light skinned people to dark people. He thinks its more of a description of how certain races are portrayed in the media, which makes associate different things for different races. Its an interesting test. On this test, i showed no preference of skin color. I took the asian one and it said i consider asians foreign or something like that. So i guess i'm a lil racist towards asians. My bad ricey and naomi.

itsbigmoni 1 Posted October 31, 2007 Ha, i'm a retard. You can go here to select the test. Theres a race test and a skin tone test that deal with racism in a white/black context. There are a bunch of other tests as well.
itsbigmoni 1 Posted October 31, 2007 I can make a racist test that shows everyone is racist too. So what? Theres a slight difference between you and harvard. If you read the book, you'd know its a pretty thorough tests that stands up to a lot of different questions. Also, i do believe everyone is racist to some extent. But then, i wouldn't call that racism, just human nature. I'm sure since the beginning of time, people preferred other people who look/act/talk like them. I think it goes away from human nature and towards racism when you start acting more and more on it.
jerryskids 7,135 Posted October 31, 2007 My bad ricey and naomi. naomi is asian? I didn't know that; not that it matters of course, I just need to modify my mental image of our imminent hot sex.
frank 2,348 Posted October 31, 2007 I'm sure since the beginning of time, people preferred other people who look/act/talk like them. You think there were people at the beginning of time? Also, is there anyone who doesn't already know whether they are a racist?

Good point. Most people are more comfortable with others that look/act/talk as they do. The lines blur among the military, police, fire fighters etc. that rely on co workers for survival. JWD 0 Posted October 31, 2007 I can make a racist test that shows everyone is racist too. So what? I agree. This test is designed to make you seem to be a racist for whatever reason. Im not sure what else their agenda could be. I scored strong preferance for light skined people the first time. So I took the test againbut with the knowlage of the grouping of the test and the results were, Strong preference for Dark Skin compared to Light Skin. This test is rigged plain and simple
kilroy69 1,271 Posted October 31, 2007 Your racist if you tell racist jokes liiiiiiiike Whats the difference between a black man and snow tires snow tires don't sing when you put chains on them.
piget 0 Posted October 31, 2007 Your racist if you tell racist jokes liiiiiiiike Whats the difference between a black man and snow tires snow tires don't sing when you put chains on them. Not really. depends on your environment. Regardless of race all the Fire Fighters,Cops and Ems people I grew up with made jokes about race, religion, etc. since we all bled blue(uniform color). There is no prejudice when you count on the man or woman wearing the same uniform as you to save your a$$ when push comes to shove.

This test is rigged plain and simple THis is what I got. ------------ Your Result Your data suggest a slight automatic preference for Unicultural compared to Multicultural. ----- There goes that theory, Grand Wizard. I was rather surprised and disappointed that I could zoom through the white/good multicultural/bad with minimal trouble, but kept making mistakes on the multicultural/good white/bad part. I'm pleasantly surprised I only got a slight preference actually.

naomi 360 Posted November 3, 2007 My bad ricey and naomi. I'm not Asian. Although those things that match you up with what celebrities you look like feed me back a lot of Asian actresses. Western European and maybe a little of the Jew (some old family records are written in Hebrew). Wouldn't mind being one

naomi 360 Posted November 3, 2007 I have no idea why, but i got you confused with addict. Maybe naomi is asian sounding? Yeah, it is. Female names that end in 'i', especially 'mi' are often Asian. Understandable. Actually figured you were Asian way back, but then read about your Punjabiness. Not sure if that's a play on it's big money, or you're big and Moni. Sux,similar but she's more endowed.
itsbigmoni 1 Posted November 3, 2007 Yea, moni (pronounced money) is a common punjabi nick name. Most people fock up my real name and i refuse to sell out and let people call me "mike" or something like that. I'm bigger than the avg guy and in high school i thought i was the shiznit so i made my aim screen name "itsbigmoni." Been using it ever since. But then i joined muscleandfitness.com and realized how ridiculous it would be to call myself itsbigmoni on that site.

I picture a stick with long braided hair protruding from all orifices smelling of petuli oil. I'm sure naomi is cute

I know you live in CA, seems like the pressure to "sell out" wouldn't be high here. I like how when roll is read at class it really sets in how we have a variety of people. Keeps it interesting...although that might sound placating, it really does. Spotted, not a hippie and really hate the scent of Pachoulli oil.
itsbigmoni 1 Posted November 3, 2007 Luckily, i wasn't the worst. Xyoob. That was the name of a hmong guy. Its pronounced kinda like shong. But yea, the teacher would be going through the roll and just stop. I don't think a single teacher ever even tried to pronounce it. He would just tell teachers/friends to call him sean. My real name isn't all that difficult, but its amazing how bad people mess up my name. Manveer. Man-Veer. I mean, its two syllables, and individually, they are both english words. I'm from cali, but i live in the central valley. Its all red out here. Really backwards compared to the rest of cali.
