AnaheimRams 28 Posted December 13, 2007 I guess I'm a Patriot Hater... but... whatever... Â I've worked myself into a good place emotionally to witness their finals push. Â I realized that I hate the old ass former Dolphins and their annoying circle jerking every season equally as much as I hate the Patriots... Â so... Â Patriots lose... I can enjoy that. murf74 461 Posted December 13, 2007 Yes! In their first playoff game...to Cleveland. Â I think that game would be extremely entertaining....they played the Pats tough when the Browns didn't even realize how good they were yet. I think it was a close game until the 4th quarter. They can put up points quickly and their offensive line gives their QB lots of time.

RSersen 0 Posted December 13, 2007 Would you rather your team win the Super Bowl or the Patriots NOT win the Super Bowl  Both. And there's no difference...if my team wins the SB, then it means that, obviously, the Pats did not.  That said, I root for my team first and foremost. There are other teams that I dislike and like to see lose (Pats being one of a few), but what happens in my team's game is much more important to me than what happens in the Pats game.  Fan before hater. Always.
FenixTx972 2 Posted December 13, 2007 it would be diffrent if they won with class, seriously. Â i don't mind the colts, didn't mind them when they started 13-0. Sho Nuff 720 Posted December 13, 2007 Let me make this simple for you. 99% of the people here...do not hate the Patriots. They hate tools like you...and threads like this. Â It seems some of you Pats fans take offense to anyone who does not bow down to the greatness of the Pats. Â I respect the organization and the team...BB, not so much. mainev3nt 0 Posted December 13, 2007 It's probably the pompous and arrogant attitude of most patriot bandwagoners on this board that incites the disdain of the Patriots. That whole keep hating us and were better na-na-na-na-na, is an attitude that 3rd graders display. Why should you care about what people think of 'your' team? Only making threads like this and the many infantile statements looks bad upon you fans. Keep up the immature attitude and well be waiting untill you people grow up a little bit. r8drzrule 0 Posted December 13, 2007 None of the above.. Â The tuck job pi$$ed me off, but i don't think the raiders woulda beat the rams that year anyway. Â Other than that, i really liked their teams, except this one. Â They used to be about tough, physical football...teams whinin(colts) that they maul their recievers...reminded me of the bad boy pistons with laimbeer and isaiah(one of my all time fave champion teams). I like blue collar sports teams, and the pats USED to be the epitome of that. Â But now they are, Â 1) Soft...pretty much a complete opposite of what made them likeable to me. they can't run and they can't stop the run. I think this spells trouble for them unless they have good weather all through the playoffs. I say they lose a bad weather game. Â 2) They got the ultimate quitter on their team and he is their #1 weapon...karma dictates that randy moss will not win a super bowl. And this type of player is also the exact opposite of what the patriots used to be about(and don't give me the corey dillon analogy. dillon was a wife beater and malcontent, but never a quitter. he was a warrior on sundays, randy is half a f@g). I also was one of the few this pre-season that said randy would put up 1500+ and 10+ tds as long as he stayed healthy. I knew he wasn't done physically. Â So its this teams character, and more importantly how it is so opposite of what made them likeable, that i don't like. And just because its the way of the universe and mother nature, it will cause their ultimate downfall before they hoist another lombardi!

shovelheadt 71 Posted December 13, 2007 Two part answer... Â - The success of the Bengals trumps all. I'd gladly see them win it all over anything else. - You need to realize that it's not really the Pats that everyone hates, it's their fans.
donhaas 18 Posted December 13, 2007 I'm not crazy about cheating, adulturing, being a bastard factory, Vrabeling into the QBs knees five seconds after the play is over with 10 seconds left in the game, Wilforking a QB knees, classlessly running up the score, etc.... Â At the same time, I'm sure there are good guys on the Patriots who do good things and just kind of look the other way and say, "Yes, our coach is an a-hole prone to cheating, but he wins" or "Yes, our QB is a bastard factory who classlessly throws 4th quarter 4th down touchdowns up 45-0, but look at his career stats before Moss came on board.... they're Charlie Batchesque... He needs this for his confidence." Â So, it's hard to hate a whole team based upon the actions of a few bad apples... Â It's basically the bandwagoning Patriot fans that are annoying.... But they're more funny than anything. I'm sure the Patroits players didn't appreciate nobody coming to their games until they started winning, but that's all water under the bridge now. Â Further, it's hard to hate anybody when you root for the greatest, classiest, most-championed team in the history of the NFL with the greatest quarterback who didn't need his kicker and defense to win a title (and didn't have everybody feel so sorry for him that they gave him the MVP for throwing for 125 yards ) and who doesn't need Randy Moss to Culpooper up his Hugh Millen*-like lifetime stats. Â Â *Patriot fans: Hugh Millen was your quarterback on your 1-15 team in the '90s long before any of you started following your team.... Â

Would you rather see the Patriots fail this year (assuming your team doesn't win it all) or would you rather see your team win a title (assuming they had a shot). Â Â Unless you are a Patriots fan the two things are not mutually exclusive. Your team winning = Pats not winning the Superbowl. Â But if they were for argument's sake, I'd obviously rather see my own team win. Enough with the whole "victim" attitude of Pats fans, its a tired act. Â As a Jets fan whose team has no shot, I don't want to see the Pats win the Superbowl this year for various reasons. I am not a hater (except from a division rival standpoint) and have alot of respect for what the Pats accomplished in the past couple years. I'm not calling for any asterick and think the whole taping issue went way too far and too big a deal was made out of it. I think Tom Brady is a top 5 all time QB and anyone who calls him a "system QB" is an idiot. Â With all that said I am rooting against the Pats this year, due to their and their fans arrogance and the whole "villian" role they've embraced. I'd like to see Peyton or Favre win their second Superbowl, since I am fans of both players and they are also targets of Pats fans for some reason.
