Mackgee 0 Posted January 26, 2008 Game Set Match!! Wipe the white substance off of your computer screen. I bet you just love the attention this post has gotten. How many Super Bowls have the Eagles won?
BMoney 0 Posted January 26, 2008 whatever nancy. how'd you chickens do against the fudgepackers? oh yeah, they were humiliated! have fun rooting for a team thats gonna suck for the next 10 years. division title every year...playoff wins...1 this year vs a crappy team from the nfc east...1 last year vs another crappy team, dallas..year before that super bowl runner ups... really, NOW is not the time for dallas fans to talk trash...you had your fun when u were the #1 seed throughout this year..but that sure flamed out fast, didnt it? the grossman-romo comparison is because both have been known not to prepare as much as they should... funny thing is.people always rip dilfer..but that guy has overachieved..he has worked for everything... if romo worked as hard as dilfer, maybe he wouldnt suck... theres a reason a college that doesnt do well with QBs (wisconsin) wanted nothing to do with romo... and they dont win because of romo...they have 10 other pro bowls..he is holding that team back with his prancing around and soft arm... Gepetto 1,368 Posted January 27, 2008 2007 Passer Rating: Romo 97.4, McNabb 89.9, Jason Campbell 77.6, Eli Manning73.9 2007 Pass Completion Percentage: Romo 64.4%, McNabb 61.5%, Jason Campbell 60.0%, Eli Manning 56.1% 2007 Passing Yards per Game: Romo 263.2, McNabb 237.4, Eli Manning 208.5, Jason Campbell 207.7 2007 Passing Yards per Attempt: Tony Romo 8.1, McNabb 7.0, Jason Campbell 6.5, Eli Manning 6.3 Now shut the fock up you idiots! Tony Romo DONE... Fine. He's only played in two playoff games. Last year he drove his team down to inside the 5 with around a minute left in the game. This year He had Fasano drop a pass in the endzone that it him in the hands and chest. He had Crayton drop a pass on an incredible pass after scrambling, that would have got the Cowboys from inside their own 10 to well within field goal range and maybe more. He threw a perfect pass into the endzone at the end of the game to win it and Crayton slowed up. I'd say you're all a bunch of idiots if you think Romo isn't a great QB anytime, anywhere. So two years as starter, he got the Cowboys to the playoffs both years, and both playoff games he drove them down at the end of the game with a chance to win it. It's a team sport and he did not choke. Yea, he was the holder against Seattle, the ball was slick and it slipped off his hands, crazy stuff like that happens once in a while. It doesn't make Romo any less of a player. ..AND DONE.
Eagles Green 34 Posted January 27, 2008 DONE.....AND DONE. As exciting and important as pass yards per attempt is, I'm more interested in playoff wins. Where are those numbers?

listen2me 23 1,873 Posted January 28, 2008 He's a young QB. Those numbers are on the way...stay tuned... He's not that young, should be about in the prime of his career actually. what is he 27? He had a coupel years to sit and learn, and this was basiclaly his 2nd season starting, 1 1/2 actually, but he had 2 playoff games too.
Pimptaddy 0 Posted January 28, 2008 Romo must have something to have such a long thread about him. Seriously, the guy has talent. This thread is worthless and is basically Dallas homers and Dallas haters bit-hing at each other.

That's young in QB years (he's entering his prime now) and his team is very good and has a good chance to build and improve next year off of this year's performance. I'm not going to argue if he's young or not. Whatever. My point is he has the whole rest of his career for many accomplishments including playoff wins. I'm done. Nothing changes until next year and until his career is over. Wait and see.

49ers_suck 0 Posted January 28, 2008 Wow, just think how good he would be if he were on a good team! And when they lose it is somebody else's fault. This guy has the best of both worlds, it is a good thing Cowboy fans don't expect much out of their team. what are you getting at? we know that Romo didn't play very good at the end of the year. all we're saying is that it wasn't completely his fault. all you're doing is trying to pick a fight, right? cause the shitt you post is pretty lame. KSB2424 3,148 Posted January 28, 2008 I would rank them as follows: 1. Brady 2. Manning 3. Favre 4. Palmer 5. Romo . . . 11. Garcia 12. Eli . . 16. McNabb . . 24. Todd Collins

He played the best he can and it wasn't good enough. see, thats where you go wrong. he CAN play much better. and did through much of the season. and i dont buy the pressure of the playoffs crap. or he folded like a tent. Romo will keep getting better. the Cowboys lost their explosiveness and confidence at the end of the season. look at their season, and its a tail of two teams. the team at the end of the season does not deserve to have all the pro-bowlers. it starts at the top. wade philips failed. he couldn't keep his team together. the mental mistakes against the giants are too numerous to list. Joey Gladstone 33 Posted January 28, 2008 Oh, and the "chickens" and The boys both got knocked out of the playoffs in the same round this year. And for the record, we have won all of our home playoff games the past 3 years, and have actually been relevant at some point over the past 11 years. CornKobb 48 Posted January 29, 2008 Cowboy fan here.......I still have alot of faith in Romo even though his playoff luck has sucked last and this year. He did lead them to the playoffs both years and I believe patience with him is impt. He is a gamer with talent and will be very successful when its all said and done. Eli....... Has had a GREAT run in the playoffs and that is where it really counts so I would have to give Eli a little more Credit at this point. However just because Eli has the Gmen are in the Bowl doesnt guarentee success the rest of his career does it? Allthough I think despite Eli's turnover failures in the reg season he will mature alot and be a top 7 qb from here on out imo. 1. Eli 2. Romo (very close 2nd) only time will tell (hope i am wrong) 3. McNabb very good qb who is on the downside of his career 4. Campbell very inconsistent. just my 2cents....... Cowboys have a young Defense that will only get better, just gotta shore up the secondary. the O-line played most of the year together, not sure if all the guys will come back, i think flozell is a free agent, and will command big money. Romo will progress, imo. the Cowboys SHOULD be the favorite to win the NFC East next year. the chickens are long in the tooth. the O-line is not that good. and that D was embarrased by GB. See, now you're already setting yourself up for a let down next year. We've been hearing this since Parcells was hired in 2003. How many divisions have they won since then? How about since 1998? This team sucked since Nov 29, 2007 losing to all three division rivals the last time they played. I would worry about that before you crown their a$$. The Parcells factor has finally worn off of this team and now they have the Wade factor. I would look for a real tough fight in that division. The team with the fewest injuries will win, I think it is that close.

CornKobb 48 Posted January 29, 2008 The Cowboys will not go 13-3 next yr imo..... I would say 10-11 wins is about right and in the tough nfc east i feel that should be enough to win the division and get the #2 seed.
tubby_mcgee 701 Posted January 29, 2008 McNabb is by far the worst. He literally choked games away. Romo didn't at least lose their game vs. the Giants. McNabb has single handedly thrown games away. Plus, he's a locker room cancer---a couple weeks ago, he was saying that the Eagles failed in the past because they can't get talent to complement himself. LOL. McNabb? LOL!!! Duhhh...babubaa bah bubbaa....my name is Donovan...buh-buh bahhbb, bub boo baah. McNabb is the biggest choker in the NFL hands down...

tubby_mcgee 701 Posted January 29, 2008 I think most teams, if given the choice, would take Romo over McNabb right now. Immaturity you can grow out of. Old age? Not so much. Not so much age or anything, but McNabb just isn't that smart. Let's face it. Ever hear the guy speak? "Uh..duh...buhhbaba buhh...buh buh buh ba boo bah..." The guy has an IQ of baboon. No wonder he's played in the NFL as long as he has and never accomplished anything.
tubby_mcgee 701 Posted January 29, 2008 Remember, if the Giants lose, that means Eli CHOKED. That's the way it was described with Romo...so it's only fair to say that if the Giants lose, it because Eli choked the game away. If I were a betting man, I'd say Eli will choke in the SB. (meaning, the Giants lose)
