Yeah, Candace Burgen's character isn't great.

I was also really dissapointed with the John Laroquette character. I figured surely "Dan" from Night Court would bring the funny, but they use him as the straight man for some stupid reason.

And all the hot chicks are gone, which sucks.

James Spader and William Shatner carry that show.

Earl

The Office

Survivor

Friday Night Lights

That's the list. Don't even have five. Used to be the Shield but switching to Direct TV screwed up my schedule for that show. Have the season DVRed though, just need to catch up.

Edit: Five will be Lost if it EVER focking comes back.

Aside from the Simpsons and Family Guy which have been around for awhile, I have never seen even one episode of anything listed so far in this thread. I don't watch a lot of new shows in the fall; in fact the only two I do watch are Bones and House.

Friday Night Lights

Is that show still on? I loved season one (I rented the DVD's). Well acted show with lots of football.

Oh, and two slamming hotties. Leila and the other girl (the one who almost got raped in season 1) are HOT!

Whatever series is on HBO (currently True Blood) and whatever series is on Showtime (currently Dexter). I dont know how anyone can watch a series on one of the networks, they are all beyond awful.

I miss my premium cable. I got spoiled with the golden age of HBO, with deadwood, entourage, the sopranos, six feet under, carnivale, etc.

And I hate that I've missed the last season or two of Dexter. That is a great show.

Lyla and Trya.

It's still on. Season 2 probably wasn't as good as 1 but it was still pretty solid. It also got focked because of the writer's strike, they only made 15 episodes of a planned 22. Season three is only 13 episodes. It's showing on Direct TV 101 right now and will air on NBC over the winter.

Dexter is one of the best series in a long time

Although, True Blood kicks-ass...I think Showtime is overtaking HBO with better programming.

Yeah, last time I had premium cable, Showtime appeared to be taking the lead, with Dexter, Weeds, Penn & Teller B.S., etc.

HBO pissed me off by focking over two great shows, Rome, & carnivale. These shows were excellent, but then they decided to end them, so they sped up the pace of the show and grafted sh!tty endings onto them. That sux.

Edit; Oh, and also, Season 6 of the sopranos was the focking suck.

Two and a Half Men, ugh.. I have tried to watch that show many times, I just can't seem to do it. I keep hearing people say its good, but I swear, I have never cracked a smile, laughed, or anything with that show. Also, they must have stolen Dharma and Gregs laughtrack, they use it so much that its distracting.

Horrible show.

I very much prefer to watch shows on DVD, one episode right after the other. So those shows are excluded for the purposes of this thread, and there are quite a few I do this with. Anyway...

Lost

Fringe

Any show with Gordon Ramsey

Top Chef.
