Giants Fan 85 Posted March 7, 2009 I once had a 75th level magic user named Bombour. He was Chatoic Evil and had bad ass Power Word Kill.
jvirne 0 Posted March 7, 2009 Lvl 29 Warrior/42 Magic-User. Edition 2 rules. Was human. Ascended to divinity in the Greek Pantheon. I branched off, formed my own pantheon with the group of characters my friends and I started with. We did this all in 2 summers, from level 1 to creating our own plane of existence. This was in middle-school. Then, in grade 8, I got pubes and some of the girls grew breasts, and I decided to pick up a different sword and seek other booty. jvirne 0 Posted March 7, 2009 I can't remember the level, but my Paladin "Cambridge" was pretty kewl. Lawful good, obviously I often played True Neutral, so like Raistlen Majere, I could learn from both sides and act lawful or chaotic, good or evil, as dictated by the needs of balance. :geek points +10: Lawful Good was boring (goodie-goodie). Chaotic Evil was too disruptive (a serial killer). Lawful Evil was interesting (like nazis), and Neutral Good was my favorite (neither obeying laws nor stirring sh!t up; you just played as a good guy). Also, I banged fifty hotties my senior year of high school, played fullback, and can hammer a 10 inch nail into a board with my peemus. :redeemingwords:

Filthy Fernadez 2,696 Posted March 7, 2009 I only knew 3 people that played D & D (all three guys). One killed himself and the other two were having sechs with each other at 16. And no one wasn't me. :jealous:
Saint Elistan 106 Posted March 7, 2009 Going further than 30 is a bit overkill...I stopped my cleric (Chaotic Neutral) at level 20.
jvirne 0 Posted March 7, 2009 Going further than 30 is a bit overkill...I stopped my cleric (Chaotic Neutral) at level 20. I'll admit that it took quite a bit more imagination from the DM to keep things interesting. Fortunately, I was the DM, and I kept it interesting.
jvirne 0 Posted March 7, 2009 Lawful good was boring, but that was the only race a Paladin could be, and I liked all the extra benifits that came with a Paladin. Lawful good is an alignment, not a race. A race is human, elf, dwarf, drow (dark elf), half-elf, halfling, half-dwarf, half-orc, and if you had a cool DM, you could open things up and be a banished/radical orc, ogre, goblin, or kobold. I can't believe I remember this crap 25 years later. :Nerd Points +10: ALSO!@!# You could be a Dark Paladin and play Lawful Evil. That was fun.
Eviloutsider 0 Posted March 7, 2009 Not very far, level 13, and ended up killing myself. I then went outside and never looked back.

jvirne 0 Posted March 8, 2009 You know what I meant also when I played, there wasn't a Dark Paladin class. I never knew they made one. We made it up. It seemed like a logical counterbalance to the Paladin class. The Dragonlance novels also provided us with the inspiration in the Dragonlords and Lord Soth. I really was a hardcore D&D/fantasy novel geek right before puberty. Then I discovered girls, weed, and beer.

jvirne 0 Posted March 8, 2009 I had a folder full of maps and character sketches of an entire world. I taped four pieces of graph paper together for the global map. Then I had various national maps, city maps, and even maps of the country estates of important characters and nobles. Maps of buildings. Maps of wizard towers. Dungeon maps. A three page map of the dwarf kingdom I created after reading The Fellowship of the Ring, along with a two page map of the Drow nation warring with it. All of this, along with my 10+ 2nd edition books were kept as a fond memorysake for years, until I went to college. Then it got put into a storage facility by my mother. Sophomore year she was institutionalized, and the storage unit's bill went unpaid and forgotten. A year later when we remembered, everything had been sold or thrown out.
