Adam might win...he is probably the most talented vocally for sure. But his over the top style may not win him this thing. Bo Bice would be lucky to make the top 5 this season. Fantasia was the benefactor of a weak season as well. I thought that "Mad World" was pretty good but just his normal shrieking ain't making me want buy his album. he's been in plays and has enough experience..he SHOULD be good..and he is...with a weak season..hes destined for the final 2 or 3... but best ever on that show? no way...hes just the flavor of the season...when he sings..hes pretty good..but in the end..all he does is throw a scream and a shriek in there.... hes got the gay vote....those who think he is or will suffer before he likes the are wrong..its helped him a lot... when it comes to future success..he will never come near carrie underwood or daughtry... he will have a tough enough time approaching david cook or clarkson... I haven't watched every season...y'know, being hetero and all...but I think this is one of the better seasons. I thought the Daughtry year was slightly better IMO. Gokey has a good story but he blends in with the other singers and i agree he does not stand out. I like that Allison chick. He is a very strong vcalist who's always 100% on-pitch and has very good range. I do agree with Jerry that he could very-well fall into the Taylor Hicks category. He's a bit old (29) to be a teen idol, and 30 year-olds don't generally buy a bunch of cds or ringtones. That version of "September" was incredible. So many little technical things put in there by Danny. He's the "musician" out of the group. I see him doing better as a producer than a performer.
