I wonder about that. My wife typically votes for multiple people she thought were good and should advance. Does much of the voting public have "the" person they are pulling for and F5 their votes until their fingers bleed? If so, you could be right, as this has shaped up as an "Adam vs. everyone else" competition for a long time.

seriously Adam was started to wear thin. Everytime I hear him try to sing a rock song i expect him to interrupt it with a show tune. Adam is broadway singer IMO he is not a rocker and never will be -- best he can hope for in that area is a George Micheal like carrer.

Didn't know the song but felt he blew it out. he did "You are So beautiful" better last night. I thought it was good on Tuesday, but much better last night. I will give Adam one thing. He is doing and saying all of the right things. It is kinda easy to do when they are all slobbing your knob though.

Honestly, the radio station I listened to was saying it's mainly because he's a homosexual. Chris comes from a very religious family. It's bascially become an "anyone but Adam" type of thing.

 

And, didn't Seacrest say last week that Adam was only behind by 1 million votes? That's really not that much in terms of AI votes.

His face just goes weird when he sings. He just doesn't have the star/record maker look. His voice isn't that great with the artists out there today. He blends in rather than stand out. I think Adam should win. At least he stands out.

The 2nd one...vocally Adam was flawless again...performance wise...meh. It was a bluesy song and I got no bluesy feel out him at all.

Though, Simon was spot on about kris...it was like a few kids sitting in a dorm room playing that song. It was good though.

Yeah, Kara's song was embarrassingly bad. It's a shame that they had to end the season singing that crap.

Yeah, even though the No Boudnaries song sucked, to be honest it was prolly the best 'victory' song out of all the other ones in the past. They all suck. Not sure why they do that every year.

 

Adam should win. He has been the best all season. I hated some of his screaming and over the top stuff, but when he controls himself like the the first song he is really good. Kris did well, but Adam deserves it and prolly did enough to overcome the tweeny vote that Kris will get.

Maybe not everyone likes the theatrics and the screaming. He's got talent, yes, but he's not always pleasant to listen to.

Funny you say that; for years I've hated when the judges said "this is a SINGING competition." No it's not; people vote on the entire package. Yeah Kris plays guitar and piano... so do I. In fact I play like him; faking by strumming chords and playing octaves on piano with his left hand. He's no Stevie Ray Vaughn or Billy Joel though. Adam, perhaps thru his theatrical training, takes over the stage and commands your attention. You can't take your eyes off of him.

I would like to see kris win. I am not a big fan of Lambert, and would definitly be more likely to buy a CD from Kris, Danny, or Allison. I do feel that Kris lost the vocal competition last night though. I can throw out the horrible last song by both of them. The second tune by Kris was weak. Fuller did him no favors with that Marvin Gaye song. Adam did a good controlled job on the Sam Cook tune.

Honestly if anyone except Matt is voted off I will be pissed. Adam and Gokey are just unbelievable every single week. I am a big Alison fan, but unfortunately I don't think she can keep up with those two. I like Kris and any other year I think he might have had a real shot at winning. This year I don't think he is any better than 4th.

Agreed, great finale. Also, America is stoopid. Kris was totally upstaged by Keith Urban. Who? Meanwhile, Adam was still in control with Kiss. Focking Kiss. You know afterwards that the Queen guys were begging Adam to sing with them. I don't think he would or should, but that genre is what he should do; resurrect the "rock opera" concept. He sings Mercury so effortlessly; those of you old farts like me, think back to the Mercury tribute concert at Wembley and how bad the top performers of that era sounded trying to do it. Of course, you need brilliant musicians and songwriters, minor detail but if they could, wow, he could have a serious impact on music.

 

Kris will be singing lounges within a few years. Unless he goes country, he might have a decent career there. Even he said "Adam deserves this."

American Idol, come on now.
