PsychoBelichickFan 0 Posted December 17, 2009 This thread was started by fans of a team that has never won a title. A team in a division of winners who have collected 11 lombardies between the three of them. If you have to resort to bashing a team that has won more games and more titles than most teams ever will and is the top franchise in the nfl then you are just bitter and jealous. Now back to romo. He has not been the reason for the last two losses. He has had two back to back 110 or more qb rated games. Last year the december record was due to a tough schedule. The year before Dallas rested starters the last game against the skins and if they played that would be a 3-1 december record. The year before, romo was not a starter all year and he cant be blamed. Joey Gladstone 33 Posted December 17, 2009 You're right Psycho. Other then the botched snap, the entire team can take the blame for choking year after year. I find it hilarious that we are on our 3rd year of bashing Dallas for this. This all started in 2007, back when Pimp only had one profile! And nothing changes, Pimp and Tubby bring up ancient history to defend their current team's ineptitude, and Dallas playoff victories in this century stay stuck at the number 0. Well lets keep recent history fresh in our minds boys! 2006: The botched snap. 2007: As a #1 seed with over 10 players voted into the Pro Bowl, Dallas is eliminated right away by the rival New York Giants. (But Crayton fellll down!!! ) 2008: The Cowboys fade out at the end of the year, getting demolished by their rival Philadelphia Eagles in their final game deciding the last NFC wild card spot. 2009: Dallas in in danger of missing the playoffs again after another late season swoon caused by actually playing good teams. On the road against the undefeated Saints, on the road against a resurgent Redskins team (who will treat this game like their superbowl) and familiar territory playing Philadelphia in your final game once again. Good luck Oh, and Pimp, I know the Seahawks suck. But other then them beating Dallas in the 2006 playoffs, they have nothing to do with this thread. Seattle's window slammed shut last season, And Dallas' is closing fast too. At least the Hawks did something late in the year when they were contenders. Thank god they don't have Jerry Jones heading any future rebuilding efforts either.
tubby_mcgee 700 Posted December 17, 2009 Kevin Kolb threw for 391 yards against the Saints. The other side strikes quick and you have to throw the ball all game to try to catch up. I can see it already....the Saints will win, but Romo will throw for a bunch of yardage......it'll be 0-3 in December and fans will be saying, "it's not because of Romo". Easy now little man...I can see it now... the Eagles will FAIL----fall flat on their faces ONCE AGAIN this year...and their FANS WILL AGAIN say..."Well gee..we won a playoff game once. duhhh"

GB has 3 of them and the freaking name of the trophy is after their legendary coach. Still a historical POS to you? It was about history...history shows GB has a pretty solid one. It also shows Romo has not done crap when it counts and that you are a freaking moron.

Leave it to the packers to bring up past titles from days of leather hemlets and 170 pound white guys with no black athletes in the nfl and fewer teams. These packers are worse than dallas fans To me, it's ancient history once the last remaining player from a championship team is off the roster. The Tony Romo-Dallas Cowboys are as ancient history as the leather helmet champions from 1940. Is there a certain time that a championship is worth bragging about and when it isn't? Does that 'magic date' happen to be when Dallas was good? Hell, to me the 44-6 ass whooping the Eagles gave Dallas last year is ancient history. Sure, it's still fun to recall the look on Romo's face as he picked himslef off the turf and looked for Jessica to hold him before he started crying, but that anhialation won't do a thing to help Philly this year. And the fact that Dallas used to be good with Jimmy Johnson and Jay Novacek really isn't going to help Romo try to win a game when his shoulder pads are feeling too tight around his neck these next three weeks. So...while I can't blame you for trying to remember when your team actually could win a playoff game, it really has nothing to do with this thread and Romo's 5-10 December record. Does it now, blouses?

So basically you are saying the Packers are more historically successful along with having more recent succcess then the Dallas Cowboys? Plus, your franchise is owned by the fans, and not some egomaniacal tool with too many face lifts. But hey, does Lambeau have a huge High-Def screen in their stadium? I think not!!!!! Sho Nuff 720 Posted December 17, 2009 How can records be respected when they were attained during a time when black athletes were not allowed to play in the nfl? Only there were black football players in the NFL as far back as 1932. With some breaks where there were none. But to say there were none is complete false...pretty much expected from you. So Dallas is great because it has boxes (for the pansies who can't watch football outside and need pasta salad and martinis instead of a brat and a beer), a big TV (because I pay money for a ticket to watch the focking game on TV), and hot cheerleaders (and they are not even all that hot compared to other team's cheerleaders...more like white trash for the most part). The Next Generation 10 Posted December 18, 2009 To those saying the Jerry "dome" is the greatest venue in the NFL - Have you ever been to a game there? I didn't think so. Supposedly, from what I read earlier, the seats are so far back that the majority of them don't have a great view of the field and are angled to see the giant TV screen. It may be the most expensive and luxurious, but I don't think it's the best to actually watch a game live (from what I can gather). Although, I would like to check it out some day. Yes, you are right...your posting is an epic fail. You're absolutely right. I'm still pissed that the Steelers abandoned Three Rivers stadium for the same reason you love Lambeau. The history and charm of a place can't be duplicated in a new setting. I understand the reason, but Lambeau is about the fans, about the closeness. Luxury boxes and 100,000 seats are about one thing, money. Jerrah doesn't give a crap about the fans, all he cares about is their $$$. Hey pimptaddy...it's pretty fockin sad that this thread has degraded into a "Tony Romo is better than your QB because Jerrah has the biggest TV in the world" kind of defense on your part, but it's pretty typical of you. Oh, and I can think of 5 other cheerleading squads WAY hotter than the skanks wearing the same outdated 70's style outfits and Farrah Fawcett hairdo's that parade around on your sidelines during your typical December swoon. I couldn't care less about past championships, this year is the only one that counts. Maybe someone will understand. yep, these people forget dallas won titles and was a dynasty. they forget the beatings dallas gave the entire league for most of their history. bottom line. romo cant be blamed for december losses anymore than brady or manning cant. Blame jason witten for not scoring in the redzone. One td all year. wow. blame wade for being dumb. Blame garret for the endzone fade that never works. just dont blame romo. Dude is a stud. he can dunk a basketball and he is a great athlete. complete total package for an nfl qb. Romo will win rings soon whil the eagles are still remember the good days of their little playoff wins with no rings.
