Holy crap their offense sucks! If the ball wasnt going to Jackson or Lloyd, then nothing was happening. Pettis sucks (which is kind of sad, liked the kid in college).

 

And Fox sure had a hard-on for the Rams defense, who played ok. I get it, Chris Long's dad works for the network, but playing against 2nd and 3rd string linemen he was SUPPOSED to have a good game. He's a solid player, another Grant Wistrom.

 

Also, Rich Gannon looks like a badass with a beard.

 

Back to the Hawks, still WAY too many stooopid, dumbassed penalties. It's B.S. when veterans like Gallery are committing them. Watching, you really get to a point where you are shocked a play isn't flagged.

 

Our defense really enjoys hitting. Its fun to watch. Clemons and Browner both had nice games.

 

He wasn't seeing a whole lot of daylight, but Lynch ran like a beast. He broke a lot of tackles.

 

All in all, it was a game we should have won, but it's fun to watch a Seattle physically beat up on somebody. That's something I can really get into.

The defense was our strength going into the season but I am really impressed with its play it is much better than I anticipated, our secondary in particular is a lot better than I gave it credit for. I figured we would get lit up at corner but Sherman and Browner are doing an above average job. I still would like to see an elite/fast twitch CB added to the secondary but its not a pressing need at all.

 

We desperately need someone besides Clemons that can consistently rush the QB though. If we could just get some consistent pass rush pressure oppisite Clemons the defense would be top 5 material.

 

I hate to say it but if we can't get a top QB prospect, I would be ok with another O-lineman in the first, we are just having such terrible luck with our O-line it's unbelievable. It feels like a waste of a pick with 4 of the five slots all top 2 round picks and Gallery a big free agent signing but we need some darn stability on that line.

 

We desperately need a QB prospect behind Tavaris, I am ok with Tavaris for a couple more years and I never in a million years would have believed I would say that.

That was the lone, glaring problem with the defense yesterday. Other then Clemons, I think I saw Brock get one pressure and that was it. Bradford had plenty of time, if he had anybody else to throw to other then Jackson and Lloyd we could have been in trouble.

 

If we keep working on the pass rush and can land a good rookie QB, we could be in business!

Give me a QB, CB and a DE in the first 3 rounds of the draft and they can draft all punters the rest of the way for all I care.

(I just went with the draft, and stayed away from Free Agents because I'd like to stay with the youth movement program Carroll and Schnieder have going on.)

 

A stud QB to replace Whitehurst.

A stud CB to replace Trufant.

And another really good DE to go along with clemons.

 

And these guys will be going places for years to come.

I don't think I can watch, but I know I will. First off, I am a Seahawk fan. Have been since 1977. So..

Secondly, I have Lynch going as my RB2....

As far as watching the Hawks go, since I live in Michigan and haven't seen one game, I am very anxious to see Kam Chancellor lay some hits.

 

Other than that..This game is going to be ugly indeed.

Any advice from Seahawks fans? I just picked up Doug Baldwin and due to injuries, I have to choose between him, Riley Cooper, and Johnny Knox. Right now, I'm actually leaning towards Baldwin since the Eagles secondary is depleted, they're playing at home, and Sydney Rice (shocker) is out.

Is a shame Mutler and Forte got hurt. I would have enjoyed Kadafiing Sweetness with a victory over the Chicago Bruins. Next year of course, he's retreated for the remainder of this season.

The CB's are playing good for kids. I still think we need a draft stud to go with Bronner,Marshall,Thurman and Lewis though.

A true stud to go with those kids, plus our safeties. And that is a very good secondary.

I think the Hawks playoff chances were killed when they choked away that 10 point lead in the 4th qtr to the Skins a few weeks ago. Don't think they are winning out. Either 49ers or Cards will beat them...............I don't think 8-8 gives a chance at playoffs. Lions will find 1 win.

I wasn't worried about Detroit doing their part. They've been backsliding for weeks and their fluke start to the season is a distant memory.

 

Next week will be tough, even at home. The Cardinals have been chippy lately too and would love to play the spoiler at home. If we beat the Niners week 17 would be the very definition of a trap game, especially for a young, aggressive team that leads the league in idiotic penalties.

 

I'm not trying to be a downer. It's still definitely the most exciting this division (in it's current form) has been.....ever.
