Yep, another bogus call...fix is in...that was total BS, intentional grounding...no friggin' way.

Seriously, BJ... Did a ref touch you in a bad place when you were young?

Ummm...this is really getting tight.

from the bears perspective, they need to be patient...still a lot of time. no need to vick it.

The Pack go prevent D with 5 mis left for an easy score? Dumbasses.

every team in the nfl does that dumbass "prevent a win defense."

i don't get it. never have.

I am so jealous. I wish the Patriots were able to play teams like the Bears in the playoffs.

Congrats Packer fans.

what was interesting is the play they were running when the timeout was called looked like it was going to work. then they call a timeout and look awful.

unfortunate for them. some questionable coaching right there.

I felt that whoever won the Eagles vs. Packers game had the best team and the best chance to earn a Super Bowl trip. Congratualtions to Packer fans.

How many Packer fans were yelling "Go down, you stupid motherfocker, go down!!!"?

My roommate was yelling that.

Congrats to the Packers

Thats the game.

Is Cutler still in Chicago next year?

cooler heads will prevail this offseason as per cutler's status...but as i said earlier: if we find out after the game that his knee is only sprained...bear nation should be howling mad.

i don't think that's why they lost (cutler wasn't doing shiat anyway). but he's your guy and, well, he damn well better be really really hurt to take a powder in that kind of game.

just saying.

That's the only reason I wanted to see the Bears pull this one out. Would have been a tasty QB contoversy the next 2 weeks as Cutler would try to talk his way out of why he quit on his team.

Congrats Packer fans.

Yeah, I'd rather play a defensive team with an above average QB on their home field than play a defensive team with an awful QB on my own field.

If I was a Bears fan I'd be disgusted.

That was such a winnable game with the D showing up and Rodgers having an off game.

Then Cutler turns out to be a huge vag and they still have a chance with the ball and 2 mins to go.

Wow what a shitty focking effort.

Considering how Lovie handled the whole Rex Grossman situation a few years ago, Cutler would have been starting. The good thing about that is even though the game would have been a laugher for the AFC team, America could at least watch Cutler get crippled. Cameras would show his hooker lady-friend texting pics of her ass to Sanchez/Rapistberger within minutes.

What I see from this game.

1. Not excited. Not excited 1 bit. MM plays so conservative when up in the game. Capers going prevent. I honestly don't get it. They hardly ever put teams away...always find ways to keep teams alive, no matter how much they are dominating. Play like that in 2 weeks and we get rolled.

2. The offense is crowned by everyone. The defense is the backbone of this team. The D got them to this point. ATL saw Tramon flip the game completely, and then they kept going. Look at the last several games...the D has been the side of the ball that does its job.

3. The Bears suck. Cutler is a puss. As skilled as Cutler is, I would not want that guy leading my team. Now the Bears are stuck with him for years. He is not a leader. Who knows what injury he has, not the point. When things aren't going well he offers no leadership. He is a terrible QB in terms of winning.

ugly game.

I don't see it one bit. The Bears were totally out matched. The Packers were the team with the shitty effort. They tried to let the Bears hang around all game...and they did. Wouldn't be happy if I was a Bears fan, but how can you be that excited as a Packers fan? Total lack of effort on several plays in the 2nd half, and crappy play calling and conservative coaching from the Packers staff.

Seriously, BJ... Did a ref touch you in a bad place when you were young?

You really think that was a good call??? Seriously...intentional grounding call at the end of a game, and it wasn't even intentional grounding? "When" the calls are called are as bad as anything. The fathom holding call on Taylor when the Bears were driving...you really don't think the Refs have any say in the outcome of a game? Of course, the Bears had a big say in that! :shocking:

That being said, I did say the Bears wouldn't be able to win anyway, regardless of the referring, but let the players decide the game. I do believe all this talk about the 18 penalties in the first game may have had something to do with the bogus calls against the Bears.

Congrats to the Packers and will be rooting for them to win the Super Bowl, gotta root for the NFC North.

From a non bears or packers fan the refereering was a little fishy to say the least.

A little Fishy is one way to put it...a lot fishy is another way! But I'm sure all you Bear haters will see it another way. :shocking:

I'm a Colts fan and have no idea what you guys are talking about. The only bad call I saw was the intentional grounding flag late and even that is always one of those 'meh, it's close either way' calls.

Totally agree with you!!!

That's what the 2008 and 2009 teams were lacking...

We'd drive down to get the lead only to have the D lose the game for us in the last seconds.

This year and especially in the playoffs, our D came thru' big time!!!

Oh, and our special teams came thru' amazing!!!

Congratulations to Da Bears, EVERY game we play with them is a cardiac threat and ends up UGLY...

So glad and grateful we came out on top... (having the lead helped tremendously in a game like this!!!)

Go Pack Go!!!

I hope to be at the Tailgate parking lot in Arlington in two weeks... :headbanger:

As a Packers fan, I thought there were a couple that were iffy, but nothing egregious in either direction.

ALSO:

The Packers Pro Bowl Snubbing Revenge Tour is on!

Phase 1: Tramon Williams puts the world on notice with a great game and a win-clinching interception. COMPLETE

Phase 2: Rodgers makes the NFL feel dumb for sending Matt Ryan instead of him. :lock:

Phase 3: B.J. Raji abuses the [bears|Seahawks] O-line all game resulting in the Packers tallying 4+ sacks.

Phase 4: No Packers play in the Pro Bowl because they're to busy winning the SUPER BOWL. :first:

They came up short on the sack count but the Bears QBs were getting abused all day and Raji found a way to make a name for himself that none of us could have predicted! :pointstosky:

So... How are Bears fans taking Culter's quitting on the game? I haven't seen heartlessness like that since I used to play basketball on the blacktop and had to pretend I rolled my ankle when I got dunked on.

say what you want and put all the coulda, woulda, shouldas out there...but at the end of the day the packers beat the #1 seed and the #2 seed on the road (and in fact THREE STRAIGHT ROAD GAMES) to get to the super bowl.

i don't care how you slice it. that's pretty damn impressive and some long odds.

someone at a bear board is claiming cutler said post-game that he wanted to go back in but that it was a team decision for him not to...dunno. just saying what i heard. he certainly didn't look that disappointed strolling along the sidelines.

that said, i've liked nor trusted cutler. get a jeff-george vibe from him.

I don't know... Those are all impressive, but the fact that the Packers have managed to turn Swampy into a good forum citizen speaks much louder.

Reasons the Bears lost:

1.) Coaching (Lovie)

2.) Coaching (Martz)

3.) GM Angleo (horrible O-Line, no D-Line other than Peppers, no D-Backs, no #1 WR)

4.) Packers were the better team

5.) Refs (obviously not the reason they lost, but they certainly picked and choosed the most opportune times to flag the Bears)

Unfortuntaley, this bogus Bears run may give Lovie and Angelo a contract extension, what a fraud that would be. I believe they each have one more year, either let them play it out or replace them now, so we're not set back another year...can you say Cowher??? What a perfect fit he would be. Not big on the GM seen and who should be Angelo's replacement.

BTW - From what I've heard, Cutler may have a torn knee ligament. He had his knee wrapped up and wanted to come back in, but the trainers said no. This guy had been sacked more than anyone this year, took some huge hits, and never missed a snap, so all you wannabee Cutler haters, give it up. After all the clowns we've had at the QB position over the years, you really want to get rid of Cutler????

He might have tore something, but it is about a foot and a half north from his knee. I would buy knee damage if he weren't standing from the rest of the game. The team obviously needs to save face on Cutler, so I expect some suspect injury report.

How many times has a RB walked off the field after an injury, thinking he was fine, only to have an MRI the next day and having a torn knee ligamnet? Not saying that's what happened, but let's wait to judge.
