I'm playing in a relatively big money league with friends, picked 7 out of 10 during the height of the CJ holdout. There was an obsession with good QBs early on, and someone started a run on WR's that left me going: 1. CJ 2. Mendenhall 3. MJD (All of my friends are really scared of him for some reason. I don't know why, and I certainly wasn't planning on RB/RB/RB to open, but can you really say no?) 4. Vjax 5. Mike Williams I'm not sure about my order after that, but Vernon and Santonio were next I believe, followed by Eli? Honestly, I think I just kinda lucked into it. Obsession with hype over production and unreasonable fears about CJ's holdout and injuries just dropped it into my lap. If not, I'm in for one long season... Honestly as long as Best stays healthy your team is very good. Romo in the 8th is a BARGAIN. I think he went in the third in mine.... (and by that point Brady, Rodgers, Rivers, Manning, Vick were gone already) Felix could have a nice season and Ingram is the guy who could be a bit of bust or just be absurd (also went in the third.... OVER MJD in my league). In my league, I don't think it's so much personal vendetta as much as groupthink. Once a guy starts falling, it scares other people away from drafting them, and I just followed my board. As long as MJD and CJ stay healthy, I really ought to be solid. Unsure what to make of this team as the WR's went how I wanted but I ended up taking RB's with considerable risk attached to them but they were solid values. He might have taken Manning and that would be understandable. But if you look at lineup there seems to be a big hole where a QB should have been taken. You can figure the first 6 rounds easy and it does not look like he picked Manning unless he took him in the 6th or 7th. So, if he didnt take Manning, your telling me Bradford is best QB left around rd 7 in a 10 team league? 1-DMC 2-Calvin Johnson 3-Sjax 4-Miles Austin 5-Reggie Wayne 6-V.
