They should have just 1 turning lane. 4. Every morning when I walk out of my hotel it smells like wet dogshit. This is probably related to smog. 5. Valley fever - there is a fungus down here that gets into your lungs making you sick. 6. High beer prices - beer is 20% more expensive than montana, and 10% more expensive then texas. 7. Great (but small and very crowded) lakes with some huge bass, plus a lot of very good offshore fishing. It is against the law in california to take a paper ID. The problem is I have a temporary texas drivers license since I just moved there, and it is printed on paper. So twice I have ran into people that wouldn't accept my credit card because I didn't have a legal ID, and I have been turned down for beer once as well. I've fished a signficant number of places in the western hemisphere and you are just wrong here. If you are addicted to 20" trout, then I can see your POV. Otherwise...... Sure, I would rather fish Cat Cay, or Key West or the Pacific side of Panama, but SoCal has a decent overall fishery. Sounds like you need a good tour guide.
