Patriotsfatboy1 1,433 Posted November 21, 2011 i'd advise you to pick him up BEFORE the detroit game, not after it's going to be too late to wait if rodgers goes down. No doubt. I will be dropping Cutler on Wednesday morning for Flynn. I might have to get a 3rd QB just in case as well because week 16 could have Rodgers and Flynn splitting 50-50. Sho Nuff 720 Posted November 21, 2011 go bump an old lions thread, fockstick, like you and douche #2 always do. i'd tell you to tuck in your d!ck--but youz need one to do that. instead restuff2 your tampon and shoo. the lions aren't going to win the division, so a loss on turkey day won't matter in that regard. they're fighting for a wildcard. a win would help that. a loss makes it tougher. i said last week: win against carolina and take 1 of 2 coming up against the packers and saints. that's the story in a nutshell. nobody outside of green bay gives a flying shiat about the packers. Like we always do? Sweet...starting out with a lie. Oh, that first line of yours...really showing your maturity and wit there. Are you freaking 12? Hell, I thin 12 year olds call that "humor" childish. Nobody outside of GB gives a flying shiat about the Packers? Thanks for again proving how ignorant you are. Might want to check out the TV ratings...jersey sales...pro-bowl voting...fan base that is spread throughout the world...and on and on and on. Maybe you can try using that line that Packer fans are mad we are not being talked about at all (when every focking TV and radio show about the NFL continues to gush about them). Hilarious how uninformed you are...or just a plain liar.
donhaas 19 Posted November 21, 2011 it warms my heart to see don and sho teabagging on cutler in this thread The packers are good enough that we don't need to celebrate injuries (when we've been a big disappearing droop dog the prior week ) As a Packer fan, I want to beat the best of every team.... and cheering injuries is just so bush-league, anyways... I remember you disappearing for two months last year only to reappear when Rodgers got concussed and you started a thread similiar to this... How did that all work out for the Packers anyways??? Packers own Cutler... Cutler just anally raped your Detroit Colts 44-6.... This thread is pathetic... just like you
Walter34 3 Posted November 21, 2011 Very tough break - the Bears were cooking with gas. They'll need a veteran signing as a backup at minimum. The defence, special teams and running game should be enough to carry them into a wild card spot. The oakland and GB games are toughest down the stetch - the rest are still winnable. Swamp - you are just a flat out a$$ hole. It must be sad to live in your head. Pathetic and angry when you lose and worse when you win. You sit like a coward on the sidelines when things dont go your way and then run in all excited when misfortune hits a division rival. You should be teaching your son better ... Caleb will do ok - just needs to watch out for Raji
The Hood 9 Posted November 21, 2011 Thoughts and prayers out to Matt Stafford. Thanks to Swamp's karma from this thread he may actually die on the field this week. We've all seen Caleb Hanie out play Aaron Rodgers before so all will be fine with the Bears. also not really
Cruzer 1,996 Posted November 21, 2011 Damn, sorry to all you Bears' fans - that sucks. This really shakes up the Wilcard race as well. I know Dallas and NY were both thinking we/they had to win the division to get playoffs spot, maybe not now.
swamp dog 0 Posted November 21, 2011 Thoughts and prayers out to Matt Stafford. Thanks to Swamp's karma from this thread he may actually die on the field this week. We've all seen Caleb Hanie out play Aaron Rodgers before so all will be fine with the Bears. also not really yeah, all of a sudden the bear fan a$$holes and cheesed!cks are angels. nah, none of you focksticks ever joked about "glassford" or his glove or lion injuries. focking dumhass does a :overhead: every time a lion gets hurt and plays hurt and underperforms--then cries his ass off about injuries every time the packers don't win by four touchdowns. and you bear fans are even worse. fock off. karma is a biatch. and you've earned it. that goes for you too, walter. and especially to the two d-bag cheesed!cks who troll around here. but glad to see you've put a pious pine-tree air freshner on your d-bag behavior. cutler's not dead. if he wasn't a pvssy he could play through this. put a focking glove on and get out there. if he played any other position he could still play. he's a d-bag and a wuss. for him--and the typical bear fan--this is type of thing is focking justice. the. end. Jarvis Basnight 119 Posted November 21, 2011 Swamp is an embarrasment to a lot of good Lions fans I know. Decent fans that root for their team. They don't root for injuries on other teams or get excited about them, or talk about how the Lions are going to injure other guys, like Rodgers. There are a ton of good Lions fans in Michigan, and "fans" like Swamp give them a bad name. Pretty shameful. Swamp please clean up your act or just go away. The Cutler thumb break sucks. I respect the hell out of the Bears and they were rolling. We'll see if they can overcome this critical injury.
donhaas 19 Posted November 21, 2011 focking dumhass does a :overhead: every time a lion gets hurt I have never done this... I think the Packers are good enough (world champs/undefeated this season) that I don't need to cheer on injuries... I will give you one day (24 hours) to find one single incident where I cheered a Lion injury.... If there are many, as you contend, that shouldn't be a problem... I have Best on one of my FF team and have been hoping that he comes back sooner rather than later... I have stafford and CJ on another and I pray they never get hurt... Who's injury was I cheering? Sounds like you are lying because everybody is calling out your dooshbaggedness..... 24 hours... run a search on my name and bump where I've cheered a Lion injury otherwise kindly STFU and go back into your November hiding

donhaas 19 Posted November 21, 2011 If we can get back to the topic... I don't see it as such a big deal I think they are still going to win 5 of their last 6 games anyways (maybe 4).... (if the Packers have everything all sown up... maybe even 6) They were going to be doing some traveling in the playoffs anyways... Pending on how fast Cutler can heal and how the layoff effects him, they should be Ok in the long run...

Matt Mueller 148 Posted November 21, 2011 I still think Cutlers loss hurts Forte but more carries and dump offs won't be the worst thing. 'Post-Cutler Bears plan to 'lean on' run game At his Monday press conference, coach Lovie Smith said the Bears plan to lean on their running game "even more" with Jay Cutler likely lost for the regular season. Offensive linemen love to run block, so this should be music to their ears. Matt Forte has managed just 121 yards on 38 carries (3.18 YPC) in his last two games, and OL coach Mike Tice will work this week to ensure that the per-play average rises. The Bears won't want mistake-prone Caleb Hanie throwing more than 25-30 times a game. Defenses are obviously going to load up to stop Forte, but they were already doing that. In terms of carries, he should see an uptick going forward. Marion Barber may receive a few more attempts per game, too.'

Even Roy Williams has stepped up in recent weeks. The toughest games left are @ Oakland next week and GB. Not that the others are gimmes, just highlighting the toughest. If we assume a loss to oakland where Hanie gets his feet wet, I can still see them going 4-2 down the stretch and finishing 11-5. 10-6 is likely good enough to secure the playoffs. The Bears have the tiebreaker over Atlanta so the NFC East 2nd place team needs to go at least 4-2. Week 1 of the playoffs is 7 weeks away ...

Giants at NO, GB next 2 weeks and Jets week 16 who should need the game for their own playoff chances. 1 "easy" game with Skins who did beat them week 1. Going to be very hard for Giants to even go 3-3. Even with tiebreaker over Falcons I think they could be the worry. Depends on how good Leinart is for Houston. Falcons steal that game they get to 11-5 I think. I don't see 4-2 with Hanie. 3-3 probably more likely for 10-6.

I was thinking of making a play for Forte in one league, but now I'm not so sure. There is a difference between a dumpoff and a well-executed screen; the latter is much more difficult to do and requires a lot of things to go right (which I'll summarize as "precise timing."). If it were easy, every team would do it as often as the Bears. Hmm...
