Boilermaker04 11 Posted November 2, 2012 Well, the good news is Charles is in twice in a goal line series. Bad news is there was just a safety. edit holy crap they managed to turn it over and get a defensive td?
The Football Guru 224 Posted November 2, 2012 Chargers go from an average to great defensive play on that play.
blagrange 2 Posted November 2, 2012 even if mathews gets a trash TD I am done with him. This RBBC defies logic.
jgcrawfish 232 Posted November 2, 2012 I can't get the game right now, is Mathews even playing anymore? I've got Charles in one league, suck. Mathews in two leagues, suck. At least I have Gates in the league I care the least about, suck.
The Football Guru 224 Posted November 2, 2012 Well, the good news is Charles is in twice in a goal line series. Bad news is there was just a safety. I've decided not to go on a rant anymore about RB "roles". But let me ask these RBBC coaches something: if you have a GL back, shouldn't the same set of skills needed to get into the end zone be the same as the ones that get you OUT of the end zone? Law 251 Posted November 2, 2012 If ole Norv lets Rivers throw one more pass tonight, he really is a tool! KC can NOT score! Don't give them the ball more than you have to.
nobody 2,882 Posted November 2, 2012 If ole Norv lets Rivers throw one more pass tonight, he really is a tool! KC can NOT score! Don't give them the ball more than you have to. I wouldn't be surprised if he just started taking a knee every series and punting. I also wouldn't be surprised if Rivers figured out a way to fock that up. Law 251 Posted November 2, 2012 Frickin' A!!! I just KNEW I should've played the SD defense over the Dolphins, but I just couldn't pull the trigger. :wall:

nobody 2,882 Posted November 2, 2012 I can't wait until they finally connect on that deep ball to McCluster. Hasn't worked for two years, but when it finally does, it's going to be amazing.

nobody 2,882 Posted November 2, 2012 I forgot Steve Breaston was even in the league. I guess playing for KC is pretty much the same thing.
Boilermaker04 11 Posted November 2, 2012 I can't wait until they finally connect on that deep ball to McCluster. Hasn't worked for two years, but when it finally does, it's going to be amazing. Just as soon as they figure out how to get around that tricky triple coverage thing while Cassel stares him down the whole time. Can you say 4 fantasy points just like that? Boo-ya! GreenTD 56 Posted November 2, 2012 I was bumming when SF defense was on a bye. Checked the wire & someone had dropped SD's defense due to the bye week.... Yeeaahhh Buudddyyy!!!
tanatastic 2,062 Posted November 2, 2012 That should be it for Mathews, no need to risk injury. But Norv is so bad I can see him actually running him and he gets hurt.

uwmalcolm 75 Posted November 2, 2012 Touchdown Draughn!!!!! HAHAHAHA I am feeling some definite head on wall pain. Damn Thursday nights are always horrible for me and fantasy. Charles and Mathews...brutal.

jrbdmb 28 Posted November 2, 2012 If Norv saved his job by beating KC, then the Chargers front office's standards are *way* too low. And as for Romeo, what exactly did he do in Cleveland that convinced the Chiefs that he could be successful in KC?
tanatastic 2,062 Posted November 2, 2012 This game is embarrassing. The NFL should be embarrassed! I started gates, it was a pretty good game as far as I'm concerned.

tanatastic 2,062 Posted November 2, 2012 Did he get the whole 3/43/1 in that first drive? Who cares? My te scores a td and I watch 2 fun defensive Tds taking my opponents Mathews who fails to score, outnof the game. Sounds like a great game to me me. Side note, chargers winning this game prob cost them their season since it saved norvs job.
Matt Mueller 148 Posted November 2, 2012 If not for that long run Brown would have had more yards than Mathews. Him not being the primary pass catcher is def hurting his value.
GreenTD 56 Posted November 2, 2012 Did he get the whole 3/43/1 in that first drive? Nope, 2/35/1 in that 1st drive. As someone who was going against Gates, I'll gladly take the 1/8 the rest of the game!
mpzee 0 Posted November 2, 2012 I forgot Steve Breaston was even in the league. I guess playing for KC is pretty much the same thing. My thoughts exactly. I did a double take and checked his age and reminisced about his role in AZ. Funny.

tanatastic 2,062 Posted November 2, 2012 I bet he does too. He reminisces about his time with Kurt Warner. Breaston would barely make the team in AZ now, Roberts and Floyd are talented.
The Football Guru 224 Posted November 2, 2012 Did anyone else catch this little factoid towards the end of the broadcast: no QB drafted by the Chiefs has won a game for KC since Todd Blackledge last did it in 1987.

d'eaux boy 5 Posted November 5, 2012 I benched Rivers for Palmer about 5 minutes before kick off. I hope I'm not regretting it on Sunday evening as much as I am right now. Nope.
Vikings4ever 568 Posted November 5, 2012 Brodie Croyle, in all likelihood. The Football Guru 224 Posted November 5, 2012 Never understood why Carl Peterson got so much credit for the job he did in KC. Don't get me wrong, he had some good draft picks during his time there, but that's a lot of misses at one position. Not once in 20+ years did it seem like a good idea to draft a first-round QB?
