ANOTHER shooting today

Recommended Posts

This is why I HATE the law stating I cannot carry on school property. Schools seem to be a hotbed for nutjobs. Probably because they know nobody is armed.

I HATE this crap...why do these crazy bastards have to take others with them?

Do you dream about shooting someone?

Someone that is a sick fock and would be happy to ruin the lives of as many people he could? I would be lying if i said never.

Another day, another tragic shooting...

Too bad it's going to take another 75+ years before the sale of firearms and ammunition is outlawed in this country.

I do, much less over the years, but every so often, yeah.

Let's see. Northern schools = nut jobs shooting classmates.

Florida schools = female teachers sleeping with students.

We may not be able to count votes, but we know how to run our schools.

Debra LaFave went to the same High School that I did. Not at the same time. I just saw where they denied to end her probation. That's a shame.

Dude, she's hawt. They didn't make teachers like that back when I was in school.

And I loved how the media and people were talking about the mental anguish suffered by the student she boffed. Bullshiit. That kid didn't suffer anything. He was royalty on that campus. :overhead:

When will the left start blaming their "Great Society" for the shootings rather than the gun? Blaming an inanimate piece of metal for a death is lefty logic at its best.

I'm surprised to hear this sentiment from you. Generally you seem pretty solidly conservative. So why the departure on gun laws? Aren't you at all concerned about the implications for individual liberty if guns are totally banned?

I admit I was on the fence about gun-control for years (heck I own a few guns), but it's become obvious to me that the cons vastly outweigh the pros. The gun-related homicide rate for the US is consistent with most 2nd/3rd world countries. But it's ridiculously higher than the rest of the civilized world.

Regardless of which side your on, I think it's inevitable that guns/ammunition will be outlawed someday. It's just a matter of how many tragedies can Americans stomach.?. I'd guess another 75 years of horrific tragedies should do it.

In 75 years, if we can't kill people just by looking at them, science has really dropped the ball.

I agree that we have far too many incidents of violent crime in our society, but I don't necessarily think that guns are to blame. And I personally feel that the second amendment contains an important symbolic freedom that I'd be loathe to just toss aside.

It would be easier to just make murder illegal. Problem solved.

Do you really trust your government enough to have all the guns turned into them?

Nope. Our fore fathers knew it over 200 years ago. So far they have proven to be pretty smart. I'll trust in them.

I think you may be a phillybear alias, as well. You are either defending him, laughing at his 10 year-old boring shtick, or posting trophies after everything he says. You either ARE him or you want to suck him.

It's observational skills like these that had NewbieJr's family leave him 6 months before he actually noticed.

Have you seen "That's My Boy"? Not the greatest movie (it's Adam Sandler after all), but it's pretty funny. About a kid who bangs the hot teacher and becomes a school legend.

Jesus TapDancing Christ.

26 dead. What the F*CK is going on with people????

Is it at all possible these are terrorist attacks or organized by terrorists? Just seems too often, too close together.

I pray for the families. I'm just lost at what to say. Why shoot kids? It makes no sense.

Yes. Name a first-world country with strict gun laws which has a problem with government abuse.?.

Technically I've never never said the government should require people to turn in their guns. Just outlaw the sale of firearms and ammunition and let time take it's course. Buy-back programs and other means will slowly take the guns out of circulation.

Making drugs illegal sure worked out hunky dory. The supply dried up and the country is clean. Nope, no drugs to be found in this country.

Making drugs is a lot easier than manufacturing firearms. There's also a much bigger demand for drugs. Bad comparison.
