There are a few songs on this list that I really like.

 

All My Life and Truly Madly Deeply are both easy to listen to ballads. Like them both.

 

I Don't Want to Wait was one of those Lilith Fair type of songs that were all over the place in the late nineties. Kinda meh to me.

 

You're Still the One was a great Shania ballad from an awesome album. Together Again was one of the last great Janet songs, IMO.

 

But for me, the number one song is the best....Too Close by Next is one of the best dance songs of the nineties. Awesome groove to it. And the subject matter, about a guy trying to explain away his dance floor hard-on, is pretty funny.

No. It's not a remake of the Orleans song from the 70's. It's a slow country ballad.

Unbelievably bad; I don't even know most of these songs so I youtubed them and... ugh.

 

Went with I Don't Want to Wait, because it is slightly less bad. Almost went with Candle, but after my diatribe in the 97 thread about why I wouldn't vote for it, I decided against it.

Decent list. I liked the Brandy/Monica, Shania, Usher and Savage Garden song the best, but would listen to the rest without complaining. Voted for Shania.
