They don't want news, they only want to watch people who share their beliefs and tell them exactly what they want to hear.There are two shows on Fox that I watch with any regularity, Red Eye and Oreilly. Both have guests on of all political stripes. One is satire the other is more or less analysis. While Oreilly is clearly conservative, he's also a pompous blowhard which is always good for a few laughs. However, he does have commentators on from both sides of an issue and tries to give each equal time to voice their argument for or against.
