CNN used to be a decent left bias. But after MSNBC came along they have come more toward the middle still a little left. Most major media outlets are indeed a left bias to various degrees. Fox is one of the only well know media outlets that is a very strong right biased - the reason Fox is #1 in the ratings is indeed because they are basically the only Right news outlet for most people to view while Dems have various choices.

I think that MSNBC is so far left, that CNN seems middle of the road by comparison, but they're still biased.

 

And that's the problem.

Everyone knows MSNBC and Fox are biased, but network news and CNN aren't perceived to be as bad.

So people watching CNN or the network news get the bias, but it's subtle... which in my opinion, is the real problem.
