not sure about Fox & company, but just look at any of Gooeyballz or phillybears' comments on the Russia/Ukraine situation. You'd swear they both have a Putin Fathead on their bedroom wall. It's pretty sad when your partisan hatred gets to the point where heads of other countries become your heroes.

"The same for everyone"? What the fock are you babbling about?

I don't have to show ID to vote. I can participate in early voting. So how the hell is getting rid of those privileges in ethnic and low-income areas making it "the same for everyone"?

So some polls in your district have different rules than others? I am firmly behind your disgust about this.

I guess you must have missed the times I've called Putin a piece of sh!t. My comments are mostly disgust at how the United States and the United Kingdom disarmed Ukraine, promised to protect them in exchange, ignored the concept of how dangerous Russia is, and now basically we will have blood on our hands.

While I give Putin his due for his far superior intellect to Obama in outmaneuvering him every single time, whether it's disarmament agreements, Snowden, Syria, Ukraine, etc, and I acknowledge that Putin is the most powerful man in the world, I would never support any fockpig leader of Russia, a country that has wrecked more destruction upon human beings on this planet than any other world culture, arguably. People still go on and on about Hilter, while Stalin was responsible for the deaths of hundreds of millions; it's weird how people in this country don't see to what extent what kind of monster Stalin was. I am quite familiar with the history of Eastern Europe, and it's ugly, ugly, ugly. Putin's just getting warmed up.

Why are people voting on weekends? You vote on one day, Election Day. Who's making these bullsh!t exceptions. It's not like you can do jury duty on weekends, or go to a government office on a weekend, so who the fock are these people that are permitted to vote on weekends? No wonder there is so much corruption and fraud at polling places. Nuts.

It's so obvious what's happening here. The Republicans realize that they've gotten their asses spanked in each of the last two Presidential elections and are desperately trying to think of ways to regain an advantage. The goal of the country should be for as many Americans as possible to vote. That's historically how it's been. Suddenly, the Republicans realize it's to their advantage if fewer people vote, so they want to change the rules.

So sad and desparate. :(

Well, let's see. Initially, the only people voting were landowners. The North didn't want slaves voting in the South, one of the issues that led to the Civil War. Nobody wanted women to vote until the 1900's, suffrage. Basically, the government was set up in a way where all people would NOT vote.

At what point did we as Americans always have the goal to have as many Americans as possible to vote, because all I see is a history of limiting voters?

FACE. DOZER. YAHTZEE. THE WIN. VEAL.

The fact that they have to drag people to the polls gives insight into the integrity of the democratic party and their voting bloc. Of course they need unlimited time. So sad and desperate. :(

This thread isn't about voter ID laws. It's about the Republican strategy to improve their chances of winning by having fewer people vote.

I did. You may want to read the headline and very first sentence again. Then you may want to ask why a party wants fewer people to vote.

We should make voting laws easy? A consttutional right? Agreed. And we should also make gun ownership just as easy? It's in the constitution right?

If I have to register my guns, I should also have to register my vote? It's in the realms if of the most important document we covenant? No?

Yes, we should make voting laws easy.

Do you agree or disagree? Apparently you agree.

But then have to bring up guns for what reason?

What relation to voting do guns have other than being a constitutional right?

Why even bring it up except to try to start some ridiculous partisan argument.

BTW...Im all for gun ownership...responsible gun ownership and no it should not be an easy thing given what guns actually do. Let me know the next time someone died by pushing a button on a voting machine.

That is horrible. :nono:

I'm still waiting for someone to explain how changing the times in which all can vote somehow makes it harder for minorities to vote.

Is the claim that minorities are too dumb to tell time? Seems racist on the part of the NYT's author, and those whining about it here.

Agreed. If you don't have a car or you're too poor or old to get there you don't deserve to vote. :nono:

Like all good hacks, he gets stuck on one claim from someone and thinks it makes his point.

They are all afraid of massive fraud that simply does not exist...and the hours thing has zero to do with voter fraud.

Does fraud have to be massive for it to matter ? I see the lefty hacks are fine with fraud as long as their team wins.

So you don't think that getting the most voters possible gets the best representation?

That wasn't your point that I responded to. This is a completely different argument.

If you want the most possible voters, you will have to get more creative to allow people to vote in more diverse and convenient ways, such as online, by phone, etc. But of course, this opens the door to rampant yet easy to pull off fraud. And this would actually discriminate against the poor since not everybody can afford a computer nor a phone. A voter ID is very non discriminatory if you are trying to prevent fraud because it gives equal access because you cannot function in today's society without a photo ID. So, what if really boils down to is do you want many voting with dubious results or fewer voting with probably more realistic results.

Who said anyone was fine with fraud? Another made up excuse by drobs.

BTW...what do the hours (which is the part most are taking exception with here) have to do with fraud?

Its ok to admit your party is doing this to try and gain an advantage based on historical voting patterns.

The same as both sides will draw up districts to try and help themselves in state elections.

Its not my fault you keep proving me right in calling you a complete hack.
