Never bench your studs!

Recommended Posts

I broke my Cardinal rule in week 1 of the playoffs... With Hopkins appearing to be Fitzpatrick's go to guy, and them playing jax, I decided to play him over TY Hilton since he was facing off against Haden :wall: I'm all but assured the loss. Anyone else over think it today?

Benched Peyton, McCoy, D. Thomas, & Graham for Cam, Andre Williams, Harvin, and Cook.

I thought about going with Hilton over McCoy at the flex spot but I thought chip might put on a show for everyone back home in the Pacific Northwest

Benched Hilton for Gordon. Have ODB and Julio. May have cost me. If I make it then next week is another headache.

I had a bye but would have lost. My studs came up lame:

Josh Gordon

Jennings

Allen

Philly defense

Mason

That took some major balls, not sure I could have done the same.

Love the rule but what is the true definition of Stud? P Manning? Shady? D Thomas? E Sanders? B Marshall? I think the rule has become less of an absolute these days. I have Romo and Brady and wished I played Romo this week

My ass. I should have benched Peyton for Tannehill, but who knew?

I picked up Hill to start over Rivers and I couldn't pull the trigger.

Never bench your studs my ass.

Never bench the WRONG studs, should be the mantra.

I benched TY for Gordon and lost because of it. All those weeks I held onto that jackass and this is how I'm rewarded. FU, Josh Gordon.

I don't believe it but if it's actually true, major props

Lol what a liar. You would never have benched peyton, DT or Graham, ever. Not even a nice try, just blatant fibbing.

Yeah, I guess you could be right. I guess Flash Gordon might be the only one on that list.

I have my doubts too but it isn't beyond the realm of possibility. Manning threw for less than 200 the previous week; Denver had their streak snapped of consecutive 100 yard receiving games; Denver has shifted to run first mode; Buffalo is a decent defense; Graham put of a goose egg the prior week; and McCoy hasn't ben shady all year - and they play a surging Seattle defense.

Cam gets a sieve like Sants D. Williams, Harvin and Cook all had plus matchups. Was Jennings out as well?

It's possible... ballsy, but possible.
