Wrong; it's over cheating; something the Patriots are apparently unable to stop doing.

Less air, better grip not only for QB but WRs and RBs equals less fumbles and probably more receptions. That translates to a better winning percentage and leaves no doubt that it gives the cheating team an unfair advantage.

Go back to one set of balls for both teams and quit the nonsense.

One can CLEARLY SEE the Patriots, visually, are off the chart. There is no other team even close to being near to their rate of 187 offensive plays (passes+rushes+sacks) per fumble. The league average is 105 plays/fumble. Most teams are within 21 plays of that number.

The odds of such a statistical distribution were calculated at one in 16,233. That’s a comma, not a decimal. Sixteen thousand two hundred and thirty three to one.

Just like the officials handling the ball should have done it sounds like maybe eleven times if need be. Pathetic excuses. If it didn't make a real difference, why risk doing something illegal? It stands to reason if it gave Brady a better grip on the ball, it gave all the offensive people a better grip on the ball. Therefore, it was a deliberate move to affect the outcome of the games, which it did.
