MDC 7,284 Posted May 11, 2015 One of my employees (19 yo, smoking hot, nice c's) was asked to leave the local planet fitness because her shorts were too short. I sure hope this doesn't happen to me.
NewbieJr 541 Posted May 11, 2015 All I know is that the wilder the porn, the more sketchy and virus filled the websites become. I can barely track down good beastiality without getting that fake fbi warning that locks up the browser. I actually saw a picture on google images of a chick sucking on a horse cack. It was humungous and she had her lips around it. I'm not into beastiality at all, but as a curiosity, I wanted to see a video rather than a picture. In the same way I click if I see a thumbnail of a cat fighting an alligator. Not because it's a turn on, just because it's something I HAVE to see. So the picture had a link that I clicked on, but on the site, you had to click a bunch of things before being able to view a video. At one point, I got some weird pop up that froze my phone. So that was a lesson learned about ever trying to see an animal sex video. lol

But yea there are good videos of not just horse cack slobbing. theres women taking it doggystyle from the horse, underneath forcing it in there, blowing huge loads on them, really more than one would imagine there is. some of these farm chicks are out there. Ok, now I'm really curious. I can see women posing with horses. Maybe sticking it a tiny way in for a picture, while handlers are making sure the horse stays still and doesn't kick or injure her. But they actually get these horses off? I would think the horse would buck so violently that it would kill the chick. Also, I doubt they are farm chicks who are turned on by their animals. I bet they're desperate crack whores who are promised the next day's worth of drugs if they do this stuff.

But other times full doggystyle cramming and the horse blows and pulls out leaving a waterfall coming out of her. I think its easy to trick a horny horse and they are pretty down to mount up, same with dogs. You can tell these are chicks that love it and its their farm/horse whatever. These are not hot porn chicks, its clearly farmhands and owners. Anyway, we can get back on topic. My bad.

They are cheap yea but Id rather spend the $30 to go to a regular gym like golds that has a pool, sauna, basketball court, gym classes tons of equipment, and lets you do whatever workout you want. tanatastic 2,062 Posted May 11, 2015 im still shocked that all these gimmickas are actually real. Only around 15% of adults work out but I would guess most of the rest think about it from time to time. So PF promises an easy workout and no judgment to get them in the door. They made a big deal of telling me PF is most members' first gym experience. I would guess a huge % of paying members rarely if ever go but keep on paying. Less clean up and wear and tear on the machines for them with more $. I will be the lunk member they hate.

remote controller 143 Posted May 11, 2015 At 54, I have relegated myself to 1 hour of core training on my Total Gym 4 times a week, and the 5 minute plank routine on the other three. Great maintenance routine and the 5 minute plank is a great workout for any but the most fit on this board.

MDC 7,284 Posted May 17, 2015 Okay I've gone there twice now and early returns are positive. This is obviously not the gym to go to if you are a serious power lifter or body builder. It works perfectly fine for my 30 min cardio plus 30 of weights. Place is immaculately clean and I like the open floor and huge circulating fans. Very comfortable exercise experience. There is a noticeably smaller % of huge guys here than other chain gyms I've gone too. I need really cared: the "lunks" never bugged me and I found most of those guys to be pretty friendly and a good resource for info rather than intimidating. Whatever. Surprised that I haven't seen a high % of fatties there. They are at PF but not in much higher numbers than any other chain gym. I have noticed a far higher % of hipsters - beards, black frames glasses, tats and t-shirts of punk bands etc. I'm not sure if that's a PF demographic or if it's because I live in the Brooklyn of Philadelphia. Lunk alarm has not gone off one. Actually saw a guy today loudly grunting and acting like a tool at the lat pull machine and sort of hoped to see it but no such luck. There is a big bowl of Tootsie Rolls at the front desk and yes they do a pizza night and bagel morning, which is disgusting and really stupid. They also have "motivational posters" around the gym that seem to assume you the reader are a focking puzzy. I still hate their marketing. Overall though I've got to say I am pleasantly surprised. Frank M 181 Posted May 17, 2015 Isn't gym membership just like anything else? You essentially get out of it what you put into it, no? I think the owners of Planet Fitness are geniuses. They market to a segment of society that's too embarrassed to go to a gym with a sh1t-ton of beautifully sculpted people. Get them in, get their $$, who gives a fock if they get in shape or not. Here's the thing most normal folks care about when looking for a gym, and really, looking for any business to give their money to: Do they have what I need and want, and is it cheap? I suppose with our body-obsessed society, it's easier to rank on a business model that's different in an industry that caters primarily to narcissistic people. Mungwater 596 Posted May 17, 2015 Actually a good concept, most of those folks will never be regulars, keep the monthly charges coming. These are the same folks that still pay monthly for an AOL account, which there are like 2 million who still get charged monthly. Just do push ups for two minutes every morning, then flip over and do two minutes of sit-ups. Much more than those folks would ever do.

My issue with PF's advertising is that they're preying on the insecurities of people who aren't experienced in gyms. At least the chain guns I've gone to have not had a a noticeable problem with lunks or judgmental gym rats. Why encourage people who don't know any better to believe gyms are full of these stereotypes? I also have to wonder about the mental fragility of people who are intimidated by people who are in better shape than they are. That's always been a motivator for me. Seems like the messaging promotes mediocrity. Along with the pizza and bagels. You're right though, you get out of it what you put in. The place is very clean and well maintained and I can get exactly the workout I want for $20/month so I can't complain.

I grew up old skool before all of the fancy machines so I can create a good workout with very little equipment. I've belonged to hole-in-the-walls and fancier places like Lifetime Fitness. A lot of people don't have that knowledge I suppose, though. Also I'm not sure I'd say they are "preying" on people. They are in a niche for people who want a gym membership but are intimidated by in-shape people. They aren't their moms; they can't make people actually come. In fact I'm sure they have actuarial numbers indicating what percent of people will actually come, which drive their membership objectives. That being said, I do share your wonder about people who are intimidated by other people who exercise. I pretty much just do my thing; I've always been skinny-framed (although not always skinny) so never into lunk-ness. As a teenage male I wished I was more muscular, but eventually came to terms with it. I notice other guys and what they can lift; thinking "hmm, he's strong for his size" or "hmm, he's weak for his size." But a 250 lb muscular guy squatting 500 lbs? Yeah, that ain't me. MDC 7,284 Posted May 17, 2015 Jerry I guess I find it kind of shady to perpetuate stereotypes about gyms that are just not true. The branch of the gym closest to my house is in a rougher neighborhood and some of the guys there were massive, prison tats up their necks etc. I never once had any problems and I'm a 49 y/o white guy mostly doing cardio. I think PF's commercials are great marketing but they do a disservice to their potential members by inviting them to think being fit / muscular means you're a meathead. I was also intimidated by guns hen I joined and badly out of shape. I won't be frosting my tips anytime soon but I can run a 5K now and bench my weight 15 times. It sucked in the early going making gains but the hard work and effort pays off. I feel like PF is presented as a short cut where you don't need to work hard and get over yourself to improve. I am probably spending way too much time thinking about a cheesy ad campaign.

If they imply that you can drop in and eat pizza and bagels while walking 1 mph on a treadmill, then yeah I'd agree that that is misleading. A related thing is that it "bothers" me, for lack of a better word, when I see people at the gym but doing a pathetic workout. I mean c'mon man, you got your ass here, now break a freaking sweat and get something out of it already!

Honestly I don't give a sh1t what the people around me do at the gym. The only behavior that bothers me is if they sit on equipment talking or playing with their phones and taking up a machine I want to use. The folks that barely work out or don't go are just subsidizing the cost of my membership and I will go 4-5 nights per week. So for those people: please keep paying. Without you I'd pay 2-3 times what I pay now to actually work out.
