what's wrong with mcdonalds?

Recommended Posts

Chipotle is okay. Definitely much better than taco bell which is completely focking nasty.

Qdoba is not good though

Qdoba > Chipotle

Qdoba > Chipotle

I dunno, every Qdoba I've ever been in seemed kinda second-rate.

IMO...the chicken has always had more flavor...both of their brown rice attempts are pretty weak though.

But I prefer Qdoba's salsa and use of queso to Chipotle's salsa and no queso.

Dig the burrito bowls at both of them and Blue Coast Burrito...or any of the more local places.

My favorite local one is downtown though and Im just not down there much anymore.

I drive thru McDonald's almost every day and get just a large Diet Dr. Pepper. Today though, I got a McDouble plain and threw away the bun.

It's McDaniels, not McDonald's

These rhymes are Darryl's, those burgers are Ronald's

Went to McDonald’s for lunch yesterday. Ordered a few quarter pounder’s, fries, and shakes. Over twenty dollars and when I got home, everything was awful except the fries. It’s nowhere close to what it used to be.

I got the $5 meal the other day. McDouble (plain), fries, chicken nuggets with sweet and sour sauce, Hi-C Orange. Pretty good.

All corporate fast food is price gouging these days.  Gotta make that stock price rise!

McDouble is $5 here in Omaha. They must upcharge to $6 at some locations.

I get a 1/4 pounder with cheese value meal about once a month. The burger and fries are always delicious. Might have something to do with the fact that I always order it without onions and pickles so they make it fresh.

That's the hack. Order it with one alteration and they have to make it fresh.  Or else, they just hand you one that's sitting in the bright light for 15 minutes.

I went to a McDonald's drive thru a few weeks ago, they wanted 25 cents for ketchup packets.  In N Out would never.... They give all the Ketchup and all the Spreads you want for free.   An In N out Burger with McDonalds fries is my go to (when i rarely eat fast food) luckily for me they are right by each other (also a Chik Fil A is there but the line is always out the door) about 5 blocks from my house.

Oh I still love me a McGriddle on a football Sunday morning.

The sausage egg mcmuffin is still the king of breakfast sandwiches, and I hate fast food.  Women should rub that sht on their necks and save money on perfume.

I love a McGriddle, my girlfriend loves a McMuffin.   Recently we invented a hack, do a one side swap of McGriddle bun with the McMuffin English Muffiin bun.  Air fryer for 2 minutes. Chef's Kiss!

only problem is 50% of the time when you make any alteration the order comes f--------up, not what you ordered.

The 1/4 pounder is always made fresh at McDonald's. It's a change they made a few years ago. I do always order my cheeseburgers plain. Add ketchup and pickles at home if I feel like it.

They're screwed. People are moving away from cheap unhealthy fast food. They can try to offer semi-healthier stuff but it just doesn't fit their business plan or image.

Cheap??  I went there a couple weeks ago.  I had not been there in awhile but I think I remember about a year ago a dbl cheesburger was like $1-2 or something and it was like 3.50 now.

The last time I ate at McDonald's, geez, has to be a good 10 years ago I guess... I ordered a double cheeseburger with all the toppings of a Big Mac.  Got it freshly made and the only difference between what I got for a dollar cheaper than my cousin who got the Big Mac, was that I didn't get the third slice of bread.

My post you quoted was from nine years ago ;)

But yeah, it got pretty outrageous for a while there. They’ve had to go back to offering cheap meal deals to entice customers though, people just weren’t going for that sh1t anymore.
