The Moz 69 Posted May 29, 2015 Not talking the over 100 bucks kind but the say 50 bucks and under kind... 1. Cabo Wabo - Good taste and IMO the least amount of that "Tequila" aftertaste - the best shot at a bar IMO 2. Avion - seems to have the most flavor at least to me 3. Don Julio - IMO the best "classic" tequila 4. Patron - high end but a little too much after taste 5. Casa Noble - good in a pinch but for the price there are better High end 1. Paridiso - IMO the very best tasting tequila made about 120 a bottle 2. Don Jullio 1942 3. Patron Platinum

frank 2,278 Posted May 29, 2015 I have only ever had well drink level. It's sucks so bad, I can't believe people drink it. Even in a margarita it is disgusting. I have wondered about the good stuff. I'm sure it is better, but how much better? More importantly, is it a better version of the same thing or is it really different? I recently had Johnnie Walker Black for the first time. Not only was it much easier to drink than cheap whiskey., but I really tasted like a completely different kind of liquor to me.

BunnysBastatrds 2,321 Posted May 30, 2015 Mezcal Fawking nasty but eating the worm should be on your drinking bucket list. I worked as a bartender for numerous catering companies when I was in college. This was well before tequila was popular. Worked a Christmas job for one if the richest oil execs in town. Harry Connick Jr and Aaron Nevville were the music. Alan Touisant showed up for shits and giggles. It was a who whose party and I got the main bar. I was in charge of his massive wine and port collection. The cheapest bottle I uncorked was a grand. The cheapest port was the same. Champagne was three hundred a bottle. He told me that if I didn't fawk up, I could have anything within reason for my tip. My only fawk up was flirting with his daughter, who became the queen of carnival that year. That's a big deal here. But she was a Loyola slut who was coked up and bragging about her boyfriends buc d!ck. Me: Can I get you a fine merlot from daddy's collection? JAP: I have a black and white picture of my boyfriends big Fawking d!ck hanging over my bed. Me: Nice. So I guess a golf clap is in order :golf clap: JAP: Fawking the help is fun! Me: Prison was fun. JAP: Fawk you!!! That was heard by an aunt who relayed it to Daddy. The aunt threw an ashtray at a black woman who worked for the catering company and called her a lazy ngger. Anyway, at the end of the night while I was breaking down the bar, Daddy walks up and asks what I won't for my tip. I did a good job and his expensive wines and ports didn't take the huge hit he thought it would. Me: Were good sir. I appreciate the offer. Exec: No. I promised you. Whatever you want. Merry Christmad! Me: That bottle of Tequila that is signed and numbered looks good. I made one shot from it. It's opened. Exec: Good eye for excellence! I paid a lot for that bottle. That was my tip. I had a Christmas party iof my own the next night. Me and my friends drank it out of the bottle like it was Boones Farm Tickle Pink. Got Fawking wasted and had a great night. Come to find out, I was sitting in a bar in Vegas a few years later and a friend who was with me asked what the most expensive tequila they had was. $50 a shot. When he asked to see the bottle....Hey Bunny.....This is the sh!t we drank Last Christmas dumb ass!!!! I've tried to look it up many times and have never found it. Patriotsfatboy1 1,432 Posted June 6, 2015 Patron is a good stand-by. I have done the Mezcal with the worm back in the day. Good to talk about, but nothing to write home about. I have puked too many times on tookillya. I still like me a good margarita or tequila/Fresca, but I avoid tequila shots.
