Mike Honcho 5,107 Posted June 25, 2015 Driving record is very clean now, prior to '94 though was very spotty. I haven't received a ticket since 1998(AND I TALKED MYSELF INTO THAT ONE)--- Only been in 1 accident---and that was being rear-ended at a stop light.
dain11279 963 Posted June 25, 2015 Got one speeding ticket like 6 months after getting my license. Nothing else in the almost 20 years since. We got pulled over coming back from a scramble (I wasn't driving) a few weeks ago. Guy driving ended up getting a speeding ticket but the cop was pretty cool about it overall. We'd all been drinking and had a 30 pack sitting between us in the back. Cop kinda just looked at it and laughed. I was shocked he was so cool about it. My golf buddy (black dude) was driving and I was in the passenger seat. Bangs an illegally Uturn right in front of a cop. We get pulled over and he pulls into a gas station/store parking lot. Cop comes to the car and says "you know why i pulled you over" peeks in and sees me in the passenger seat. Goes back to his car and here comes another cruiser. cop comes back and says, uhh Mr Smith, seeing you're here on vacation I'm just going to give you a warning. so we start to drive away and my friend says "that god I hate a white person in the car"

Magnificent Bastard 190 Posted June 25, 2015 11 speeding tickets. 1 arrest. Not as bad as it sounds. The speeding tickets were from different states on the east coast, I would get them driving form NC to NY. Back in the eighties if you paid them within 30 days they didn't notify your home state. The guys I usually drove up to NY agreed to chip in to pay them, so there really wasn't a deterrent to speeding. Mostly in Virginia and Maryland. A Holes. One trooper in Maryland got me going north on the day before thanksgiving, and then same guy gets me going south on Sunday.

Djgb13 2,339 Posted June 25, 2015 If you live in Texas it pays to do an online defensive driving course occasionally. Not sure how frequent you can do it but if you do it and give your insurance a copy of the certificate they knock your insurance payment down
