Big Guy 1,421 Posted December 1, 2015 I actually think you're he first person I've heard say that last years catch should be offensive pass interference. At least you still recognized how incredible it was. As for yesterday's, not quite the level of difficulty, but still pretty great. Just listen to some of the redskins players talk about it after the game. Words like "speechless", "not human" and that type of thing. I'll take their word for it. Yes last years catch was amazing, perhaps the best ever, but take off your rose colored glasses and study the catch from all available angles. If you're a seasoned football fan you just might see OBJ grab and pull Carr, that's basically what made his motion and catch possible. I already knew this before I heard an NFL Network commentator say it today. I've only seen yesterday's catch a couple of times, but I'll keep an open mind and my eyes open to study it a bit more, then I'll get back to you. But for now I still say it was fairly common. Dude, the guy was laid out parallel to the ground, reached out with one hand, pulled it into the other, and maintained control hitting the ground. Not many players in the league could have made that catch. Probably the best catch this year. I really hoping you're trolling and not this stupid.
Cruzer 1,996 Posted December 1, 2015 Close wins over Seattle and GB are the only wins they have over (barely) winning teams, and none of the rest of their schedule has a winning record. They will have to play the Cards in the playoffs, we'll see then. And the Cards? Losses to a bad St. Louis team and Pitt, who was playing with a 3rd string qb - impressive.... Toss in the fact the Cards team, as good as they are - also just scrapped by the pitiful 49er's... Yea, I'll stick with Carolina - especially at home. And last year's catch is without a doubt, the greatest of all time. The guy is just a freak.

I am sick of Dez whining every time a ref doesn't throw a flag. OBJ is far superior in his conduct and his play on the field. Did anybody see the interview with Michael Strahan? Michael tripped out that he is 6'5" and OBJ's hands at 6 foot nothing are as big as Michaels'.

I didn't see it, but the dude must have freakishly large and strong hands to do what he does. I dunno if most people appreciate just how hard an average NFL QB throws the ball. When I was in high school, my friend and I visited the Redskins training camp. Theisman was standing around chatting and we asked if he would throw us a few. He obliged and we ran a couple slants and short outs. I was astounded by how fast and hard the ball was coming at us. And, I'm sure he wasn't putting anything on 'em. Snatching those passes one-handed like ODB does is an amazing feat.

No trolling Sparky. I said that I'd study the most recent "MIRACLE CATCH" by Odell "Spiderman" Beckham Jr. and it's only slightly better than I originally thought, but still 7-8 on a 10 scale tops. I personally would give last years catch (sans offensive interference lol) a 10.

NewbieJr 541 Posted December 1, 2015 Eagles fans are bored and angry. Why not. I'll give you angry, that's for sure. There shouldn't be a fan of any team in that division that shouldn't be. Maybe Washington, because they're the only ones meeting expectations.

I worked at a car dealership and Jeff George (as a Redskin) showed up to make a commercial. The cameraman's assistant was a big athletic looking guy and ask Jeff to hit him with a few. The guy ran three patterns and Jeff hit him in the middle of the chest every time. They were all drops.
Djgb13 2,339 Posted December 1, 2015 The thing is people think catching a football is easy. It's not so easy unless you've had practice at it. A one handed catch is always amazing but the ones ODB has been doing are great. There's no denying that. It's fact. Guy is a player hands down.

George might have had the strongest arm of all time. He could really wing it. My best memories of Jeff George are watching him get sacked repeatedly by Derrick Thomas and the Chiefs on a Monday night in Chicago. I was at a bar, and the hatred for George was very strong that night. You would have thought the Cubs won the World Series every time he got sacked. After every play he would go through his poser routine of unbuckling his chin strap and lifting his helmet up to expose his face to the tv cameras. Booooooooooo! Cruzer 1,996 Posted December 1, 2015 It's sad and embarrassing - that a team will be crowned NFC East division champion... There should be an asterisk with it saying: NFC East Survivor - 2015.
NewbieJr 541 Posted December 1, 2015 It's sad and embarrassing - that a team will be crowned NFC East division champion... There should be an asterisk with it saying: NFC East Survivor - 2015. Keep in mind that the Seahawks made the playoffs at 7-9 four years ago and won a playoff game. And last year, Carolina had a losing record and won a playoff game. In both cases, it seemed to be the year before both teams became great. You just have to get in and you're 0-0.

Another Redskins fan with underdeveloped brain tissue and poor reading comprehension skills... I said nothing of whomever winning the division not being happy to be in - I simply said it's embarrassing that the champ, from this once storied division - is going to come from this lot. You've proven to not be very bright, so it's understandable you've trouble keeping up.. Just remember not to run and hide when your 9-7 moronic prediction blows up.
