WSIS? and other FF advice

Recommended Posts

.5 PPR

QB: Luck

RB: Latavius

RB: Freeman

WR: Julio

WR: ARob

Flex: ???

TE: Dwayne

K: Vinatieri

😧 Texans

Bench:

QB: Winston

RB: Mathews, Gordon, Coleman

WR: Fitz, Desean, Moncrief

Leaning Fitz for now but I'm up in the air on Freeman. I hate to give up on a 3rd round pick week 2 against a bad D tho.

Help?

If only we had an ***OFFICIAL*** geek club wsis thread

Also, you gotta put Mathews in that lineup, vato . I thought you were a Philly guy?

I could not bench Winston at this stage. Fitz is good. DJax appears to have many plays set up for him.

I think the Colts D and running attack is so bad that Luck should be throwing the ball 45+ times per game. :dunno:

Jared Cook or Travis Kelce

I have Aaron

Kelce. Why would anybody ever start Cook?

Both had 4 points in my league.

Kelce is Andy Reid's TE. He doesn't like the TE. He only breaks it out once in awhile and usually in the first half of games. Dump him after his next good game.

First good game. :(

True. But there will be one, because at some point the other team lays off. I've been down the Andy Reid TE road a few times. I remember buying in on LJ Smith a few times. Then I realized who the problem is.

I like both pics - I’m up on Terry this year. I’d probably go Monty Week 1 tho.

Assuming he plays, Ja’Marr Chase at WR? Or bump Kupp to WR2 and play James Connor at flex?

I don’t necessarily need TE or RB help - I have McBride and Ken Walker, JCook and Connor.

Any reason to spend a high waiver claim priority on Likely or Dobbins? I’m inclined to hold tight for another week and hope someone better emerges on the wire.

You don't necessarily need TE or RB help?  Bro, if you don't pick them up, maybe someone who does need TE or RB help will.  What kind of sh¡t is this?

And how the hell is Dobbins even on your waiver wire?

They’ll both get picked up. The question is whether I should spend a high waiver priority given that I wouldn’t be starting either of them.

In a 10-team league Dobbins is a borderline RB4-5. Edit: He’s rostered in 10% of NFL.com leagues.

Yes, I know they'll get picked up.  That's the point.  Why are you giving your competition starters.  Shouldn't you be hoarding the good players?

And if Dobbins is healthy, Dobbins is not an RB4-5.  The reason he dropped in the draft is because he's never healthy.  He's an RB2 until he gets hurt, and you can't decide if you should pick him up?  And he wasn't drafted?

It's like I'm playing cards with my sister's kids here.

The question is whether I should blow a high waiver priority on Likely / Dobbins when someone more valuable might be available in a week or 2 and I wouldn’t be starting either.

Would you start Dobbins over KW, Cook or Connor next week?

MDC - who do you have available to drop? I'm not dropping any of the guys you listed to get Dobbins or Likely.

Likely was TE18, ADP 180 overall. He’s rostered in 28% of leagues. HTH.

Jalen Warren or Chase Brown are my end of bench guys. I don’t want to give up on Christian Watson or JSN yet.

I wouldn't mind dumping Chase Brown. Would hold on to Warren and Watson.
