Would you support the Feds requiring photo I.D. for all General Elections?

Recommended Posts

Umm...sorry that the words of the President bother you that much. He was the one who inferred such things with the comment about those who didn't look like they were eligible and added the latin american country names. along with the story Trump inserted himself into and pretty much got all the details wrong.

You should ask him to stop rather than whining about the guy on the internet pointing it out.

Mexico has tighter laws than we do

http://imgur.com/a/kNhvm

So we should be more like Mexico is what you are trying to say?

Hmm...

Also...they have a history of actual fraud in their elections...you can read more about the facts of Mexico (and some clips about the lack of actual fraud here)

I added brown. What do you think he meant by people who did not look eligible to vote...followed by mentioning several latin american countries?

I'm asking why it's okay for other countries to have these stricter laws but libs fight against it in ours?

That country had a massive history of fraud...we don't.

And as I have said...make them free and readily available and easy to obtain for all Americans and Im on board. That won't happen. Because that is not what the GOP wants.

If you don't check IDs, you'll never know.

And I assume by all Americans, you're referring to those who are permitted to vote, right?

All voting aged Americans. You want to make it voting eligible...sure...have at it.

And BS with the if you don't check IDs you'll never know. There have been investigations...and its always the same. ID laws have little to do with fraud.

Investigations by whom? Some precincts with impossible voter turnout (some over 100% if you believe the figures) that were only spotted due to recount (by the 3rd party Jill Stein I think).

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-12-14/mass-detroit-voter-fraud-37-detroit-precincts-tallied-more-ballots-voters

How much more happens in Philly, Cleveland, D.C. etc....?

Are you really that ignorant of how many investigations there have been into voter fraud?

Bush spent 5 years investigating

http://www.nytimes.com/2007/04/12/washington/12fraud.html

Or you can try these

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/wonk/wp/2017/01/25/here-are-nine-major-investigations-on-voter-fraud-that-found-virtually-nothing/?utm_term=.63b85ac8c8ca

Hell...even fox admits its rarely occurring.

Yes what you said was disgusting and racist. Please stop it. It's not funny when you refer to people as brown. Not all white people are the same. Not all (as you put it) brown people are the same. You think you are mocking those of us on the right but all you're doing is showing your true racist ugly colors.

You don't get a pass to lump races into one "brown" pot just because you believe you are morally in the right.

Stop it.

I said nothing actually racist. You probably should understand that...but you won't. Do you understand what racist even is?

You are seriously off your rocker with this one...perhaps you should vent this anger towards the man who made the actual racist comments about which voters didn't look like they belonged because of where he guessed they were from.

While he was mad that a German citizen couldn't vote (especially since he was even wrong about that part of the story).

Again, unless you're checking IDs at the polls, how would you know?

Address the findings in the Detroit recount? In 37% of precincts, more ballots were counted than there were voters. Is that not fraud? Just so happens that was one of the counties Hillary won in Michigan.

And we only know about that one because of the recount effort.

Read the investigations...your idea that you can't tell without IDs is showing your ignorance.

And no...the Detroit thing is not necessarily fraud unless it's shown to be something that was done deliberately to the machines.

The problem with the Detroit issue is that 37% of the precincts in one county were were over the total amount of eligible voters. You not willing to admit that's evidence of massive fraud, is just showing your agenda.

and others precincts (I think 20%) that had fewer ballots than voters that signed in..seems someone with an agenda decided to leave that part out

Is it a case of massive fraud? Its possible...why don't I say for sure? Because I understand the word fraud a bit better than you given my years as an auditor who actually looked for fraud.

http://www.detroitnews.com/story/news/politics/2016/12/12/records-many-votes-detroits-precincts/95363314/

In addition...the errors, or even possible fraud, in this case appear to be either mechanical with the machines...or human error (or on purpose) at the election official level. Things IDs would have had zero effect on.

not only IDs but fingerprints

I also think it should be mandatory that you get fingerprinted when you get any form of state or federal ID of any sort

And DNA samples. Let's stomp it out good.

Trump argument bolstered: Clinton could have received 800,000 votes from noncitizens, study finds

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2017/jan/26/hillary-clinton-received-800000-votes-from-nonciti/

But yeah, why should we require ID's to vote?

With a headline that reads "Could have", I'm more convinced now than ever.

Also, how much egg on Trump's face for talking about all the people registered in two states and Steve Bannon and Jared Kushner are two of them. D'oh!

Fock it...

First off...its a non-scientific study that was regurgitated from an old study and applied to 2016

Want more?

How about the guy who did much of the research even says Trump is doing it wrong?

It means don't close places where IDs are available in areas that serve those who typically vote against you (as some have done with polling places).

It means provide transportation to those that can't get there...have hours that allow people who work to get there to get their ID.

Prove who you are are...get your ID. Pretty simple.

How do you when you first obtain a drivers license?

Some can't. That is your objection to using an I'd in the first place. We need to be assured even the helpless of helpless can prove who they are. Should we just trust who they say they are and give them their ID?

Just to be clear I think voter fraud isn't that rampant and doesn't effect the large elections, but does the smaller ones. The varitas project Dems will buss people in to vote for mayors of big cities. Election fraud is where it's at. There's a reason it took Detroit a long time to count votes and then couldn't account for some when that crazy plant lady asked for a recount. They stuff the ballots, that much is obvious.

You should read the audit of Detroit rather than talking points.

The audit found that one ballot box was certified, sealed as having 306 votes but when opened, had 50.

http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2016/12/revealed-michigan-recount-uncovers-massive-voter-fraud-detroit-precincts/

San Pedro, CA: 1 apartment received 80 ballots with different names. http://ktla.com/2016/11/03/possible-voter-fraud-being-investigated-in-san-pedro-after-83-ballots-are-mysteriously-delivered-to-one-womans-apartment/

In Philly, some Republican poll watchers barred entry.

No good reason to oppose it. Since we're not sending that $220 million to the Palestinian Authority (last minute Obama move), maybe we can fund nationwide voter photo ID cards.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/02/01/experts-california-voter-registration-system-highly-susceptible-to-fraud.html

“If you are talking about California, the state is apparently relying on the illegal alien to tell the state they shouldn’t be registered. There is still an honor system,” said von Spakovsky, co-author of the book “Who's Counting? How Fraudsters and Bureaucrats Put Your Vote at Risk.”

The problem with California is there is no separate verification of citizenship on voter registration, said Charles Bell, Jr., a partner with California-based Bell, McAndrews & Hiltachk, LLP, a law firm that specializes in election law. Applicants can check a box affirming they are citizens, and this is not checked against any other government database such as federal immigration records.

“We have an honor system, which is effective for people who are honorable, but is also an opportunity for people who are not honorable,” Bell said. “There is a gap in the system, and we don’t have administrative folks who will be aggressive about looking into that.”

One concern, said Jessica Vaughan, director of policy studies for the Washington D.C.-based Center for Immigration Studies, is that California issues driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants, allowing them to automatically be registered to vote under the federal “motor-voter” laws. Since the AB60 law went into effect in 2015, 806,000 illegal immigrants have received a license.

So tell me again why there's no concern?

I said read the actual audit...not what the gateway pundit thought about it. And really...if you want to about news sources and CNN...and then you link to gateway pundit. oof

And yes...you should read what the 220 was for...from somewhere other than a right blog
