Sho Nuff 720 Posted February 3, 2017 All along, everyone has underestimated this guy, when are we going to learn that we have to stop saying "he cant do tht", because he clearly intends to do sh!t and does it, and if anyone gets in his way he steamrolls them.....how about we stop underestimating him for a few months..... This isn't about what we think he will try and do...this is about what he has the power to actually do. He can intend to...and steamroll? Haha!!! Like he did with Australia, or Mexico so far? Did they stop the violence in Chicago since he said he was going to send the feds in (another thing he can't actually do). Are you trying to praise him for his attempts at overreach of executive authority?
Sho Nuff 720 Posted February 3, 2017 I consider this disingenuous at best. These movements are populated with violent people, and violence erupts too often at these rallys. This game where we pretend that its not allll of themmmmmm.....heyyyyy theres no violence......its just a few peepuwl,,,,,, nope, not gonna buy that unless BLM and the other hate groups are gonna buy that the police only hve a few bad actors and we should not hold them accountable.... This is a crafty way I see left-leaning folks try to justify their positions and protests, but its just not true and until they admit it, cal lit out, put a stop to it all they are doing is feed the people that elected Trump.....be stupid if you want people, but when your stupidity impacts me....that is where I say no more.... There is little to suggest the original movement against Milo was populated with violent people. Similar to how the Women's march wasn't...nor the protests at airports over the Immigration Executive Order. The protest and Antifa are not the same groups. Nobody is trying to justify any violence. Protests and being heard...yes, I will defend that constitutional right over and over again. Nobody is actually justifying the violence here...so your rant is pretty misguided. Also...spare me the calling people out thing...considering the right (at least the posters here) are defending and deflecting everything Trump does. Call him out...call Bannon out for his crap...and this Milo character. But you all won't do that either.

Turns out one of the thugs that assaulted someone was a Berkeley Staffer who posted evidence online. Looks like the University may be culpable.

My entire family is college educated. I'd say 90% of my friends are college educated. Most are nurses, pharmacists, or some kind of medical training/certification types. All, and I mean all voted Trump. Females that I know voted Trump. Educated females. Democrats swung to far left, to fast. Turned middle America off. Then, add in everyone and everything being called racist, bigots, homophobes, islamophobes, phobe this and phobe that. People had enough of the whining intolerant left. This clearly wasn't the case and it's not only people on the right/whites that want illegals deported, fair trade and companies to build in America.

Too many people stayed home because they believed the media when it said Hillary was a lock. Had they done another election the day after, with people knowing what happened the day before in the 'practice election', Hillary wins in a route. She won the popular vote by 3 million. It would have been closer to 10 million and she would have crushed Trump in the electorate. His 30+% approval rating shows how he is viewed in this country. Its showing how energized people can be and how involved they can get. If those who are showing up like this now were that energized last November...it wouldn't be President Trump. The problem...Hillary does not energize people. He definitely picked the right demographics to focus on and it worked. If his current line of policy continues though...some of that demographic won't be as strong for him (mainly financial policy that seems to be trending even more towards those at the top and not those in the midde that supported him so much). They didn't like her in 2008. They didn't like her in 2016 either. The Dems wanted to coronate her but the one candidate who resisted gave her a run for her money. If she were at all likable, the Dems wouldn't have had to resort to the scheming they did during the campaign to try and smear Sanders. A lot of people voted against her in the election. Maybe as much as the people who actually voted for Trump. I don't mind that the Dems address social inequalities and environmental issues. The problem is that's all the party consists of right now. I don't think they seem very bright addressing economic issues, which often times becomes mixed with social traits....rich vs. poor....black vs. white....etc. And I think that's why Sanders had some appeal with some independent/Dem voters. He actually spoke to economic issues that affect many Americans. Trump did that. Hilary didn't....or at least not nearly as effectively as Trump. There was no message from her....and whatever she did offer, people didn't believe. I think many voters were skeptical of her and wanted something different. DankNuggs 305 Posted February 6, 2017 She has the experience that looked great on Paper. But she is just so unlikable. Becuase it was a completely choreographed resume... Turning power and name recognition into a carpetbagger senate seat... ran for POTUS, didn't have the chops, felt needed more gravitas, so used family power to get a SoS appointment... pretty much fubar'ed that up. Then ran for POTUS as 'most qualifed candidate EVAR!'...Which was just more choreographed talk. There is a huge dichotomy between what it takes to appease the base, and reality especially on economics... They try to walk the line that they can hurt the upperclass while generating more jobs and higher wages, and it makes absolutely no logical or rational sense... Republicans are somewhat in the same boat, as they pretend austerity can drive economic growth, which is backwards as well. But the general sentiment of allowing people to make more money will drive tax receipts even if rates are a little lower at least has some basis in reality.
