Pulling Federal Funds from Colleges as Punishment

Recommended Posts

All along, everyone has underestimated this guy, when are we going to learn that we have to stop saying "he cant do tht", because he clearly intends to do sh!t and does it, and if anyone gets in his way he steamrolls them.....how about we stop underestimating him for a few months.....

This isn't about what we think he will try and do...this is about what he has the power to actually do.

He can intend to...and steamroll? Haha!!! Like he did with Australia, or Mexico so far? Did they stop the violence in Chicago since he said he was going to send the feds in (another thing he can't actually do).

Are you trying to praise him for his attempts at overreach of executive authority?

I consider this disingenuous at best. These movements are populated with violent people, and violence erupts too often at these rallys. This game where we pretend that its not allll of themmmmmm.....heyyyyy theres no violence......its just a few peepuwl,,,,,, nope, not gonna buy that unless BLM and the other hate groups are gonna buy that the police only hve a few bad actors and we should not hold them accountable....

This is a crafty way I see left-leaning folks try to justify their positions and protests, but its just not true and until they admit it, cal lit out, put a stop to it all they are doing is feed the people that elected Trump.....be stupid if you want people, but when your stupidity impacts me....that is where I say no more....

There is little to suggest the original movement against Milo was populated with violent people. Similar to how the Women's march wasn't...nor the protests at airports over the Immigration Executive Order.

The protest and Antifa are not the same groups.

Nobody is trying to justify any violence. Protests and being heard...yes, I will defend that constitutional right over and over again.

Nobody is actually justifying the violence here...so your rant is pretty misguided.

Also...spare me the calling people out thing...considering the right (at least the posters here) are defending and deflecting everything Trump does. Call him out...call Bannon out for his crap...and this Milo character.

But you all won't do that either.

The right used to be the worst, far and away the worst, but during and after this election i think the left has overtaken even their inane stances and arguments.

Again, not a fan of Trump in the least, and I blame liberals and the left for him being elected more than anyone else. They manged to p!ss off a swath of people who vcame out and voted this clown in. All I am asking is stop doing the same stupid stuff than managed to inspire people to vote for Trump, because that stupid stuff is no longer just making the liberal left look stupid... now its affecting all of us....

Bolded what is still the dumbest focking argument people make.

Seriously...the right had a ton of people to pick from...and chose this guy. They (meaning voters...not the party) supported him from the beginning.

To blame everyone else is just dumb.

"Dabney Miller, staff member at UC Berkeley, bragged online about using violence against conservatives outside the venue Milo was due to give a speech at on Wednesday night."

Turns out one of the thugs that assaulted someone was a Berkeley Staffer who posted evidence online.

Looks like the University may be culpable.

Keep in mind that the "right" wasn't really the "right" in this election.

What emerged was a swath of populism from the middle that swayed...well, swayed crazy.... They were motivated by the liberal inclinations, and have admitted now after the fact. These middle-americans are done with this infantilized behaviors of the left. And as a result they voted Trump, now if the left can get their sh!t together they can EASILY get these people back, but liberals have to stop being focking babies and whiners....

This. My entire family is college educated. I'd say 90% of my friends are college educated. Most are nurses, pharmacists, or some kind of medical training/certification types. All, and I mean all voted Trump. Females that I know voted Trump. Educated females. Democrats swung to far left, to fast. Turned middle America off. Then, add in everyone and everything being called racist, bigots, homophobes, islamophobes, phobe this and phobe that. People had enough of the whining intolerant left. These protests/riots are not helping their cause either. They learned nothing yet.

Exactly.

The Dems want to believe as long as they cater to the special interest groups (LGBT, minorities, illegals, climate change, etc) their base will remain loyal to them. This clearly wasn't the case and it's not only people on the right/whites that want illegals deported, fair trade and companies to build in America.

Nah. Too many people stayed home because they believed the media when it said Hillary was a lock. Had they done another election the day after, with people knowing what happened the day before in the 'practice election', Hillary wins in a route. She won the popular vote by 3 million. It would have been closer to 10 million and she would have crushed Trump in the electorate. His 30+% approval rating shows how he is viewed in this country.

Protests are helping them (not the rioting or violence). Its showing how energized people can be and how involved they can get. If those who are showing up like this now were that energized last November...it wouldn't be President Trump.

The problem...Hillary does not energize people.

He definitely picked the right demographics to focus on and it worked.

If his current line of policy continues though...some of that demographic won't be as strong for him (mainly financial policy that seems to be trending even more towards those at the top and not those in the midde that supported him so much).

People just don't like Hilary. They didn't like her in 2008. They didn't like her in 2016 either. The Dems wanted to coronate her but the one candidate who resisted gave her a run for her money. If she were at all likable, the Dems wouldn't have had to resort to the scheming they did during the campaign to try and smear Sanders. A lot of people voted against her in the election. Maybe as much as the people who actually voted for Trump.

I don't mind that the Dems address social inequalities and environmental issues. The problem is that's all the party consists of right now. I don't think they seem very bright addressing economic issues, which often times becomes mixed with social traits....rich vs. poor....black vs. white....etc. And I think that's why Sanders had some appeal with some independent/Dem voters. He actually spoke to economic issues that affect many Americans. Trump did that. Hilary didn't....or at least not nearly as effectively as Trump. There was no message from her....and whatever she did offer, people didn't believe. I think many voters were skeptical of her and wanted something different.

Becuase it was a completely choreographed resume... Turning power and name recognition into a carpetbagger senate seat... ran for POTUS, didn't have the chops, felt needed more gravitas, so used family power to get a SoS appointment... pretty much fubar'ed that up. Then ran for POTUS as 'most qualifed candidate EVAR!'...Which was just more choreographed talk.

There is a huge dichotomy between what it takes to appease the base, and reality especially on economics... They try to walk the line that they can hurt the upperclass while generating more jobs and higher wages, and it makes absolutely no logical or rational sense...

Republicans are somewhat in the same boat, as they pretend austerity can drive economic growth, which is backwards as well. But the general sentiment of allowing people to make more money will drive tax receipts even if rates are a little lower at least has some basis in reality.

And with all that against her, it still took the FBI to release a bogus statement about her emails being investigated again and an ill-timed pre-election release of the news that obamacare premiums were going up in 2017 for her to lose.

I don't know if it would fly, but I have to wonder if the Trump administration could do it in the same way the Obama administration used Title 9 to force colleges to crackdown on sexual assault allegations.

Considering it was a Democratic administration at the time, I'd say very ill-timed. Came out a week or two before election day. Had they sat on that news (props that they didn't), and Comey wasn't a Republican looking to sabotage the Hillary campaign, she is our President today.

So, you think the democrats could have controlled the news getting out that Obamacare was a disaster? People didn't have a right to know their premiums were due to explode? Just so that hag could win? You're a great American skippy. And it's funny that your hero Obama wrote the law that took away the subsidies for his plan right when he left office. Maybe you ought to be blaming Obama for OBAMAcare?

of course people had the right to know, moron. Can you read? I gave props to the administration for getting that news out there at when they did. Talk about transparent. You need to work on your focking and you're reading. You're just an all-around failure. That poor poor wife.

Also, no need to 'blame' anyone for Obamacare. It's something to credit someone for. Looks like your boy Trump is having problems replacing it. Now he said that won't be till sometime in 2018. LOL So much for first 100 days. D'oh. So much easier to talk out your ass when you don't have to back it up. You and the rest of the Trumpettes are figuring that out now.

The administration put it out there? So the insurance companies didn't tell people their rates were increasing? Or the people didn't know theirs already had? Wow man, you really are clueless aren't you? Health insurance companies aren't part of the administration.

the left may have been the more violent party before your Cheetos God came into the picture. He's the one entering with both guns blazing. Talking about punching protesters in the face. And that he'll pay the legal bills for anyone else who does it. So now you riled up the left and the pussies on the right are all crying about it. Sorry, not sorry.

You're wasting your time posting links I will never read your propaganda. I heard Trump with my own two ears. It wasn't liberal propaganda. I also saw a protester get punched in the face while he was being escorted out of a trump rally. And heard the crowd cheering for it. And Trump never once spoke out against what happened. It's like all those bully videos on YouTube. Sorry but nobody ever feels bad for the guy with the big mouth getting knocked the fock out.
