Filthy Fernadez 2,696 Posted May 11, 2017 As is your blind defense of Trump. I've said investigate him but investigate everyone. You don't seem to share that view when it comes to Democrats.
Sho Nuff 720 Posted May 11, 2017 I've said investigate him but investigate everyone. You don't seem to share that view when it comes to Democrats. I don't? I am fine with investigations when there is actual wrongdoing possible. Not made up BS by Trump going nuts on Twitter I'm even gone of the new FBI director wants to look into Hillary again. But not at the expense of ongoing investigations that are more pressing. You've basically denied all wrong doing and keep up the claim that there is no evidence...you still don't accept it was Russia even. It's a focking joke watching you

drobeski 3,061 Posted May 11, 2017 This whole russian thing, the "interfering with the election" stuff. Is it the interfering that's really bad ? If so, it's safe to say that Comey and the fbi interfered with the election. No ? Are the TDS sufferers calling for an investigation into Comey and the FBIs interfering with the election ? where's the fake outrage gone?
Patriotsfatboy1 1,433 Posted May 11, 2017 The Russian interference needs to be investigated and it doesn't have to tie to Trump. If a foreign power is interfering into our elections then there needs to be serious ramifications to them internationally. If it is tied back to anyone in the US who may have been involved or knowingly benefitted, then they could be tried for treason. I don't care who that is, but we can't have the Russians or Chinese or FBI or CIA or anyone else focking with our election process.

Hardcore troubadour 15,908 Posted May 11, 2017 I still don't know why Russia would want Trump over HRC. She was so nice to them as Sec of State, and they paid Bill so handsomely for his speeches. Plus Trump was opening up pipelines and fracking and coal. Why would a country like Russia whose economy relies on oil want a guy like that?

I really wish that everyone could understand this and try to think in terms of our country instead of as a Republican or Democrat. It's as if they think admitting the Russian interference somehow takes away from Trump's win so they just bury their heads in the sand of the entire ordeal. But it doesn't take Comey to investigate. Do I think he was conscientious? Yes. Did he do a good job? No. Do we need an outside investigator? No. We have 3+ intelligence agencies to do the job. Sho Nuff 720 Posted May 11, 2017 So you support investigations into the unmasking of American citizens and leaks? Leaks...sure. It's secondary now...but go ahead.Unmasking...why investigate unless there is even suspicion of actual wrongdoing. Trumps paranoid deflecting tweets don't count. But sure...if there is real reason to believe something was done improperly...check it out.

Comey is not required, but why is someone who is potentially a target of the investigation removing the investigator right after he asked for more resources? There are plenty of Republicans asking the same thing and it just looks bad because it happened in the past with Nixon. This has implications to people in the middle as there is an ever-widening trust issue with the current administration in how they do things. To me, it feels that they are very impulsive and that is scary. Before, I used to worry that our government was too slow to actually do anything. Now, I am worried that they are too impulsive and are doing bad things.

Cruzer 1,996 Posted May 11, 2017 Didn't bill clinton fire his FBI director ? He did. He did not fire Sessions (however) amidst an internal FBI investigation, investigating Clinton himself... Sessions was already under personal investigation during Bush's tenure - being investigated (among other things) for tax fraud and misappropriating Federal funs for personal use... Sessions was asked to resign, when he refused - he was terminated.

Have a credibly link to an actual increase by 400%? Or more speculation without any actual named sources? And again...those running for office. You cannot just go in asking to unmask certain people. Likely nothing to see here (other than pointing out that Trump's team was caught on surveillance talking to people we had reason to have surveillance on...but nothing to see in that right? Just the unmasking).
