If a foreign power is interfering into our elections then there needs to be serious ramifications to them internationally. If it is tied back to anyone in the US who may have been involved or knowingly benefitted, then they could be tried for treason. I still don't know why Russia would want Trump over HRC. She was so nice to them as Sec of State, and they paid Bill so handsomely for his speeches. Plus Trump was opening up pipelines and fracking and coal. Why would a country like Russia whose economy relies on oil want a guy like that?

I really wish that everyone could understand this and try to think in terms of our country instead of as a Republican or Democrat. It's as if they think admitting the Russian interference somehow takes away from Trump's win so they just bury their heads in the sand of the entire ordeal.

I think that is the challenge and the problem with this firing. Comey is not required, but why is someone who is potentially a target of the investigation removing the investigator right after he asked for more resources? There are plenty of Republicans asking the same thing and it just looks bad because it happened in the past with Nixon.

To me, it feels that they are very impulsive and that is scary. Before, I used to worry that our government was too slow to actually do anything. Now, I am worried that they are too impulsive and are doing bad things.

He did not fire Sessions (however) amidst an internal FBI investigation, investigating Clinton himself... Sessions was already under personal investigation during Bush's tenure - being investigated (among other things) for tax fraud and misappropriating Federal funs for personal use... Sessions was asked to resign, when he refused - he was terminated.
