There are companies that overstate some key metrics like backlog and they usually get caught. It is not some sort of wild west out there. Read up on a thing called Sarbanes-Oxley. We aren't traveling anywhere, and I'm not really into things. I used to play a little blackjack or bet games, but that's not really fun anymore. I like building this biz and teaching my sons how to run a biz. There's a bit of gambling involved from our side, but we're more like the casino, and not the player. I own stocks, bonds, property, and crypto. I'm already comfortable. I could just work every day contribute to my TSP and retire with my pension and still be comfortable. If I looked around at what I missed out on in life and were mad about those things, lol...I'd be doing nothing other than being mad. I'm focused on building my net worth. Everyone has an angle. Mine is working for me. If Bitcoin is your path, hopefully it works. I still stand by this: 1.) I don't understand it/why it has the value it does. 2.) As for the guys you referenced. One is a gold mogul so of course, he will hate Bitcoin it's taking away billions of dollars from investors who otherwise would have come to gold. The other (buffett) has said it himself. He doesn't understand tech. He's missed out on all the big tech companies, like you, he doesn't understand them so he doesn't invest in them early on.
