cmh6476 759 Posted June 26, 2017 So after Bone Thugs Friday night  we head back towards the hotel we were staying, pretty far from the venue so not connected to the event at all. Ask the concierge where to go enjoy a couple more drinks and she suggests this place in downtown KC with a large deck on the third story, around 9th and Wyandotte for those familiar with KC. I'm leaning over the railing of the deck, looking out at the street and suddenly hear pop pop pop, pop pop, pop pop pop I mean I heard the same thing sung at Bone Thugs, but this time it actually was for real. My first thought is should I back away from the railing, but didn't cuz I wanted to see what the fock was happening. One car then jets off down the street, one is still hanging out in the middle of the road and I'm guessing the one who got shot at was parallel parked, tried getting out of there running into the car in front and then chases after the first car down the road. Then you hear pop pop pop pop pop pop pop pop pop Then I think "fock I just witnessed a shootout" So we start heading down to the second floor to see what was going on there, and all of a sudden we are being evacuated as the bar closed and all the crowd was funneled out onto the street where the gunfight just happened. I was like, wtf
cyclone24 1,814 Posted June 26, 2017 Cool concert..... if this was 1999. Do they just sing first of the month over and over again?
cmh6476 759 Posted June 26, 2017 Cool concert..... if this was 1999. Do they just sing first of the month over and over again? actually, it was a really great show. Kinda turned into a big ass dance party. You'd recognize a lot more songs than you think. Plus they did tributes to Pac, Biggie and Eazy-E I feel sorry for some of the guys that took females there tho. At the very end, they invited ladies to go up on stage and then had a club like atmosphere going on at the stage. You could tell band members were looking over who they might fock after the show. I'm sure some of those ladies got boned after bone

cmh6476 759 Posted June 26, 2017 Literally 10-15 blocks from the concerted, not connected whatsoever and more of a white dominated crowd at the bar than anything else. Racists
cmh6476 759 Posted June 26, 2017 Also there were a sh-t ton more white people at the concert than blacks

fandandy 3,311 Posted June 26, 2017 I had to google them. Can't say I'm shocked there was a shooting but I am a bit surprised that a white man with young children would be going to their concert.

Can't say I'm shocked there was a shooting but I am a bit surprised that a white man with young children would be going to their concert. the shooting in no way was tied to the concert Also, it was one of the most peaceful crowds I've seen at a concert to be honest, everyone was just grooving the entire time. That and smking gonja

They have zero tolerance for other people's beliefs. Good to hear you had a good time I had just never heard of them. I'm white and 44 and you're absolutely correct, dancing with a bunch of stoners to songs like Thuggish Ruggish Bone. Mo' Murda, and Weed Song is definitely outside of my tiny realm of interest. Cool he didn't get shot though. Would have been embaressing as all fock for his family to explain that one at the funeral. Yea, he was at a Bone Thug concert...
