Beyond Chaos 75 Posted September 3, 2017 Will he overtake Gore before the season ends?
cousinal111 57 Posted September 3, 2017 Nope, Gore is currently 47 years old and will start well into his 50's.
Frozenbeernuts 1,652 Posted September 3, 2017 Matt Jones blows. So no And Gore turns 49 next month. Still not even 50. In Gore years that's like 23
brotherbock 349 Posted September 3, 2017 Matt Jones in a backup roll will have more lost fumbles than Gore has had years in the league. So that's 60+ fumbles for Jones. Steer clear.
IGotWorms 3,335 Posted September 3, 2017 Downgrade Mack? Is he even a flier anymore?
xxxdog 23 Posted September 3, 2017 Downgrade Mack? Is he even a flier anymore? Coaching staff high on Mack compared him to Charles...my guess , Matt Jones is purely a warm body for depth, If Gore goes down and Mack is ready {blocking etc.} he would get the shot as Gore's replacement..... The Football Guru 212 Posted September 3, 2017 I'd say if anybody's in danger, it would be Turbin.
weepaws 2,475 Posted September 3, 2017 Mack isn't going to take a hit. Agree Jones is just another body for right now.
murf74 461 Posted September 3, 2017 I'd say if anybody's in danger, it would be Turbin. That's ridiculous

Frozenbeernuts 1,652 Posted September 4, 2017 I think maybe Mack gets a bigger push if the team knows it's not in contention. I may be more wrong about him this year
tanatastic 2,061 Posted September 4, 2017 I'm intrigued by this but if Gore went down it would probably be a split of even 3 way split anyway.
weepaws 2,475 Posted September 4, 2017 Don't know how you can see a three way split. M Jones M Jones really come on. He's a able body and I think his signing says a lot about Gore. Sorry but he's old. Mr Mack is a good late pick.
purplengold47 27 Posted September 4, 2017 Year in and year out, we always say Gore is old, he'll get injured, just a matter of time blah blah blah and that's including me by the way, but he always proves us wrong. It'll be the same thing this year.
weepaws 2,475 Posted September 4, 2017 I don't agree, I think this will be the year he doesn't hold up. Great player, but everyone has a time limit, and I think this will be the season. Mack good late pickup.
Beyond Chaos 75 Posted September 9, 2017 It was short-lived. Matt Jones was waived by the Colts.
HanRay 3 Posted September 9, 2017 Matt Jones at best will be #3 on the RB depth chart.
Beyond Chaos 75 Posted September 9, 2017 Matt Jones at best will be #3 on the RB depth chart. I'm pretty sure after being waived he will not be on the depth chart at best.
HanRay 3 Posted September 9, 2017 I'm pretty sure after being waived he will not be on the depth chart at best. Wow, that didn't last long. He must really suck if he didn't make the Colts RB squad.
brotherbock 349 Posted September 9, 2017 Wow, that didn't last long. He must really suck if he didn't make the Colts RB squad. They just asked him to carry the ball out onto the field for his first day of practice and he dropped it in the hallway. That was after dropping the pen they gave him to sign his contract.
HanRay 3 Posted September 9, 2017 They just asked him to carry the ball out onto the field for his first day of practice and he dropped it in the hallway. seafoam1 1,879 Posted September 9, 2017 Maybe he can play quarterback.
weepaws 2,475 Posted September 9, 2017 Yawn that was a mistake. Did you draft the Mack?

This. Given Gore's age (44) there is a good chance Mack will be the starter by year end. but he is rather unproven. the staff is bringing this guy in as insurance just in case Mack flops. make no mistake about it Mack is the #1 in waiting here. That was after dropping the pen they gave him to sign his contract. you just might be right. that was incredibly fast. He must have P O'd the coach pretty quick. Fumbles is likely the best way to do that, and we all know he's good at THAT.
jimaveli 119 Posted September 10, 2017 After getting thrown into a cave, maybe he's just not mentally right to show up and be useful. That and yeah...probably still fumbling.
