Hardcore troubadour 12,657 Posted October 5, 2017 I wonder what the Red Sox spent on payroll from 1919-2003? Lol. 84 years and no ring. Funny.
edjr 5,567 Posted October 5, 2017 going back to the 1919's to win a sports argument Sad. Hey son, lets try to stay in this century. sound like a pathetic Canadians fan.
edjr 5,567 Posted October 5, 2017 It's been fun bickering with you. Game time is nearing. Hopefully the Red Sox/Yankees can get even close to 2003/2004 levels. Should be fun for the next 3 years anyway, hopefully longer. Good luck eta: I typed this before RP decided he lost and had to go family on me. I won't change my message. I am the much better person. vuduchile 1,941 Posted October 7, 2017 Many dismiss them, but I'm still liking the Cubs chances to repeat. Yes Chapman is gone but they have Davis to close, plus starters Hendricks, Lester, Arieta, and Quintana. Even Lackey and Montgomery should provide some quality innings. The defense is still solid and the offensive firepower is there.
