Red Sox have an easier division than the Patriots.

Just got around to watching the 7th inning.

When Benintendi throws out Torres at home, Vazquez is clearly blocking the plate with his leg before the ball gets to him.

Was this rule changed for this year? Why didn't the spankees challenge it?

Pretty good game. I eluded to it before, but these teams going head to head might give us some of the best baseballl well see this year.

Yankees.

Wow.

Seriously, they are just incredibly fun to watch. God help the rest of the league if 3 or 4 of those top guys get hot at once (Judge, Stanton, Sanchez, Didi).

Yanks are very impressive. Pitching was not there tonight, so they put up 9. Down 1 in the 8th? No big deal.

They exude confidence. For the troglodyte Yankee fans, that is a complimentary set of words.

Kimbrel is one of the more annoying players in MLB. Like to see him get rocked. And overrated.

MLB drops the ball for the 2nd time this year and schedules the Sox/Yanks series during the start of a week.

That being said.,

YOOGE series Tue/Wed/Thu

Red Sox are not near as good as their record.

Could be looking at a sweep.

youngest pitcher to reach 300 saves.

His save percentage (90.9%) is best in baseball history (min. 250 SVO).

Stiff.

If not for the Red Sox, constantly slapping him around, this guy would be the record holder

He can only do the ninth inning. Heart of the order up in the eigth? Sorry, can't help you. Set up man gets in a jam? I guess he'll have to work his way out of it.

Rivera was the fastest and youngest to 652 saves. :dunno:

career .650 save percentage against his arch rival and aided and helped start the biggest choke in MLB playoff history.

In all serious though, that loss for the Sox last night is just crushing. Bad enough Gardner ties it up with a Triple, Judge gets right up and extinguishes all hope. Good times

Are you saying that Rivera converted 65% of save opps vs Red Sox? Or are you scrambling?

 at crushing loss with 126 games to go...

Obsessed. I bet you never hated the Yankees as much as you do now. And to think, they aren't even at full strength! At least you have something to root for seeing as your team sucks.

I have hated the Yankees since I started liking baseball...

You just confirm one of the reasons that hating them is fine...

Bzzz... Wrong again as usual... When I started liking and following baseball, the Yankees started their streak of 12 consecutive seasons of missing the playoffs...
