Cruzer is gone for the weekend so we just kind of have to muddle through leaderless, like figuriong out if you can skip Sux for example. Dunno... been well over 8 hours but it was overnight... I'd say do it...

Yeah. They can catch up when they get back.

Sux sent me a list.

1 Hound Dog - Elvis Presley

2 Stairway to Heaven - Zep

3 - You and Me Against the World - Helen Ready.

He really has a thing for those Helen Ready songs.

I do. Can't remember any of their songs but I remember the band name.

If You Wanna Get To Heaven was played heavily around here,of course they are from Missouri, they had another big song as well which I'd bet everyone has heard at one time or another.

I have a song in my back pocket that I think fits the same bill. I probably already mentioned that.

Wet brain.

Yes, the Baker street One I didn't recognize when picked, but heard the Sax and knew it immediately.

Well, I've had a long string of rockers and I need to "diversify my portfolio" lol, so I'm gonna go with.....

10.12 - Big Guy - "Bridge of Sighs" - Robin Trower :headbanger:

It wasn't really a "hit", so I highly doubt it was on his short list. If it was, just skip me and I'll make 2 picks later.

In the interest of keeping things moving, Ill pick now and if Sux wants this one, he can have it and Ill take a mulligan.

An incredible cover of a song that is largely recognized as the genesis of all rock and roll.

10.13. Crossroads - Eric Clapton Writing credit to Robert Johnson.

I love that song and it was on my list. I thought I could wait on it. I saw Trower in concert too with Jethro Tull and Point Blank. Johnny and Edgar Winter were supposed to be there but one of them got busted in Sarasota. Focking Sarasota. They got Pee Wee Herman and some others too.
