Yeah so, I'm not participating i that left over draft with Honcho. Guy was a complete dik during this. Here's my left overs before my final:

God Save The Queen- The Sex Pistols Obviously I love it

Rosalita- Bruce Springsteen Also, great damn song

Man In Black- Johnny Cash Johnny Cash...nuff said

Help Me Make It Through The Night- Sami Smith Never would have thought of this, but now the lyrics are all in my head like any great song would.

The Gambler- Kenny Rogers Was going to pick this over my David Allen Coe song

Changes-David Bowie Not much of a huge Bowie fan, but the song is iconic

Young Americans- David Bowie See above

The Night Chicago Died-Paper Lace I actually thought of this song in the beginning of our draft. When I was 6 or 8 or 10 years old or something like that, It was my favorite song. That and "Rock the Boat" from some band I can't think of the name of right now. KFRC played the two songs over and over back in my childhood.

Was surprised so few from Stevie Womder (Signed, Sealed Delivered just mentioned) and from Earth Wind And Fire (Inthink only HT had one from them). Just think those are quintessential 70s artists with music still used and borrowed today.

Supertramp is one of my favorites of the era..2 went and I could make cases for Take the Long Way Home or Goodbye Stranger.

Billy Joel well represented...could make cases for New York Ste of Mind, Just the Way You Are, or Only the Good Die Young

Though...I could have missed some...havent kept any listbwhile this goes.

I've followed this draft since I was not allowed to participate, some very good selections and of course several head scratchers.

Overall is was a lot of fun following the draft and remembering a lot of good music from the 70's. I was born in the early-mid 60's so

my teenage years were the 70's. I still consider it the best decade for music.

ZZ Top-Mexican Blackbird
ZZ Top-I'm Bad I'm Nationwide
Drivers Seat - Sniff 'n' The Tears
Elton John-Mona Lisas & Madhatters

Lou Reed-Take a Walk on the Wild Side

Badfinger-No Matter What

Staple Sisters-I'll Take You There

ONLY bands not represented and songs I was thinking

Montrose-Rock candy Great song, and I thought about it, but I was more leaning to Space Station #5...Can't go wrong either way

Hank JR-Family Tradition That was going to be my last pick, but I had to do a homer pick with Gen X

Pat Travers band-Boom Boom Out Go The Lights Also was in my thoughts...That and Snorting Whisky, Drinking Cocaine

Ace Frehley-Back In The New York Groove I was an official member of the KISS Army and Ace was my man. That being said, I hated that damn song. Rip it Out and Snowblind were my favorites from his solo effort
