I know you struggled with the investigation/hearing difference, but I hope you understand that a crime is not required for impeachment. You know that right?

As for a list of crimes, he's performed campaign finance violations, obstruction of justice, witness tampering...to name a few.  That's not even counting using foreign powers for political gain. There's also something called the emoluments clause which prohibits a president from using the office for personal financial gain. He violates this every time he uses his own properties for political purposes and then writes himself a check.  I think the Southern District of New York will better answer your question when he leaves office.

Trump is a career criminal. He and his band of thugs know what they can put in writing or say during an official call.  That's why there are numerous texts of his staff saying "call me" ort 'let's take it offline" when discussing the Biden deals.  As for what the Ukraine president said, use your head. Trump is still the president. The Ukraine still needs Trump and American assistance. He's already took it from them once. Do you honestly expect him to say Trump threatened him?  Wait till Trump is out of office. Then hear what he has to say.

Trump was offering a trade of arms for dirt.  You're the one hung up on the word threaten. If I used it that word at some point, I apologize. Remove it from your mind.  He also offered china a deal of negotiate tariff relive for dirt on Biden. You're too easily fooled by Trump's subtle ways of expressing things. When you've been a criminal mob boss all of your life, you know the key words to avoid. Now Trump just has to hope that congress is just as easily fooled. I suspect they won't be. Lucky for him, the GOP Senate doesn't care what he does and are too scared to ever act against him. So he won't be removed from office.  But the public trial could be devastating. There are 35% who already has Trump down as guilty. Another 35% who would never vote against him no matter what. Those people are irrelevant (we are both included in the irrelevant category). Then there's the 30% of the country who actually thinks independently and want to hear the facts. Those are the ones who Trump needs to convince. Will he testify?  And risk perjuring himself 100 times? I highly doubt it.  It should be fun.

That’s not what Mueller said, though.

He said that Russia interfered in the election for Trump’s benefit. He also said the Trump campaign knew of Russia’s intent to interfere and welcomed it. And he further noted that the Trump campaign took dual steps to maximize the effectiveness of Russian interference. But, he didn’t think there was enough evidence to convict on a conspiracy charge. I actually disagree with mueller on that last point and I believe he soft-pedaled it for whatever reason. But what he definitely did NOT do was exonerate Trump much less find that the charges were an outright “hoax.”

And then, of course, he found 10 (ten!!) possible instances of obstruction of justice but said Trump couldn’t be charged because he’s the sitting president, but probably could be charged when he’s out of office and/or impeached.

So if you count that as a win, god bless you. Must be nice to have such low standards.
