Official President Trump Impeachment Inquiry Thread

Recommended Posts

Washington (CNN) — The US ambassador to the European Union, Gordon Sondland, is expected to tell Congress this week that President Donald Trump relayed to him directly in a phone call the content of a text message that Sondland sent denying quid pro quo, The Washington Post reported Saturday, citing a person familiar with his testimony.
Sondland's text message was sent to the top US diplomat in Ukraine, Bill Taylor, who raised concerns in a text to Sondland about the US withholding nearly $400 million of US military and security aid. This text message exchange has become a major focal point of the impeachment inquiry into the President.
Sondland is expected to testify to Congressthat he has no knowledge of whether Trump was telling him the truth at the time, the Post reports. "It's only true that the President said it, not that it was the truth," the person familiar with Sondland's planned testimony, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss the sensitive diplomatic matters, told the Post.
The congressional testimony by Sondland, a key witness within the State Department and to the President's action in the ongoing impeachment inquiry, could prove damaging to the President and his personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, the Post reports. Sondland intends to testify to the House under subpoena Thursday, according to his lawyers.

I personally think trump was asking Ukraine to help Biden. Since he did nothing wrong, a thorough investigation can do nothing but clear him and help his election possibilities.

He is innocent after all, why would anyone be against proving that ?

Fox misrepresented that poll. In reality it's 44%.

Braun Research, the pollster firm that conducted the survey, noted that 48 percent of its respondents were Democrats; however, the Post revealed that the “actual breakdown” based on party affiliation is 31 percent Democrat, 29 percent Republican, and 38 percent independent.

The Post noted that, when weighting the poll for party affiliation, would have revealed that only 44.9 percent of Americans, or less than a majority, back impeachment of President Trump. Forty-four percent of Americans oppose impeachment, according to the Post‘s analysis.

Barr visited Murdoch for this reason?

I bet that fund will take a huge blow  after losing the naval drop outs leadership.

Well he’s going to give the testimony, so if this is wrong then that will be demonstrated very soon and credibility destroyed

Will that testimony be public? Why not?

Without the full transcript or the testimony in public, you can't seriously believe the Dems are going to give the American public any let alone the whole truth.

Doesn't matter if he does or not. The article has been written and posted for all to see. If the "person familiar with his testimony" is wrong will CNN post another article citing how they where wrong? Or spend days talking about how wrong they where?

We all know the answer.

The MSM slings false accusations, then whispers retractions that nobody hears about.

It's going to be sweet when the undercover CNN video comes out this week.

Trump’s children: well spoken, intelligent, kind, at least one future president.

Biden’s son: addicted to crack, shady deals in the Ukraine, and currently on the run.

Classic.

Imagine defending this garbage. Only the most brainwashed of the left is buying what the left is selling. I'm embarrassed for those folks, there aren't many but, as you can tell with this thread, they are the most deranged.

Keep it up Trump, expose all these focks. There's a reason the left has been trying to impeach him from day one... Too many secrets.. Too many quid pro quo's.

And the reason they're trying to go after Guilliani now. They're wanting to shut him up and have him commit suicide like Epstein.

You'd have to be retarded to not see the projection from the left. They know if they get out in front of something and accuse the other side of engaging in their behavior, their base will swallow everything they say, hook, line and sinker. They've proven it for years.

That's why they constantly try to erase history.

Meanwhile the I.G. Horowitz's report is due to drop Friday, Oct 18th. Those who scream the loudest are the ones with the most to lose.

A great quote I just read:

.⁦@mtaibbi⁩: “My discomfort in the last few years, first with Russiagate and now with Ukrainegate and impeachment, stems from the belief that the people pushing hardest for Trump’s early removal are more dangerous than Trump.”

It is absolutely baffling how they can on the one hand, defend Biden and trot him out for president, and on the other, try to impeach Trump for trying to have him investigated.

Seems to me a case where both are corrupt pieces of sh!t, but it's pretty much impossible for Biden to be clean in this. Unless they're claiming Trump asked Ukraine to frame Biden somehow.

Biden was the chosen one. The left went batsh!t crazy and RAN towards every socialistic ideology imaginable. Biden was the only one who abstained and the power brokers of Wall Street, geopolitics knew he was the only viable option to continue the swamp. Lo and behold, he's one of the most corrupt still trying to get a job in D.C.

It's almost as if this were planned. Who could have masterminded driving the left off the cliff while exposing their savior for the corrupt kiddie grabbing lech that he is?

They have the low level ops defending Biden, like the guys at this site.  No one big is defending him.  CNN is adding the line "neither Biden has been has been convicted of anything" to every story, which isn't technically defending him. What they aren't doing is any story to investigate him or his drug addled son.  They are coming, but not until this impeachment charade draws to a close.

Dipshit Republican Matt Goetz was kicked out of the closed door interview with Fiona Hill this morning because he had no right being in attendance. Goetz doesn't belong to any of the three committees conducting the interview. 😂   I swear to God, this is just like Watergate except everyone involved is an idiot.

Actually it is quite different that the Watergate investigation. Their was transparency and BOTH parties were involved for the investigation. That is not going on now.

I have no idea.  This isn't the hearing, it's the investigation. Whatever the law is, I'm sure it's being followed. Trump's personal protector, William Barr, would see to it.

You claimed he had no right to see what the Dems were doing in that behind closed doors testimony.

Well, Nancy changed the rules last year to deliberately exclude the minority party from these things. LONG before the whistleblower came forward. Sound premeditated that impeach inquiry was a foregone conclusion. They just needed to manufacture one and as it's been proven Schiff did.

I claimed he is not a member of the three committees doing the interview, therefore, he has no right being there. And that's why he was escorted out. All facts. Sorry if you don't like them.

And I asked you if any Republicans were in there. You don't know and that's the point. The Dems are free to make up whatever they want about the testimony because they can exclude Republicans and don't want the actual details released.

Don't you just hate when the party in power makes up their own rules and it actually screws over the other side? #McConnell #MerrittGarland

And just like when the left (Harry Reid) changed the rules on appointments to a simple majority, this too will backfire on them. And they will cry. No long game with these idiots. Shiny objects only.

Here is a link to the members of the Committee on Foreign Affairs. Tell us how many of the Republicans on that committee are involved in the closed door meetings? TIA

https://foreignaffairs.house.gov/members

Here is the link for the Oversight and Reform Committee. Again how many Republicans are in those meetings?

https://oversight.house.gov/members

And finally the House Intelligence Committee

NONE of the Republicans on those committees are in those meetings.

As long as you realize it is a game i.e. the President has done nothing wrong so it's just Democrats playing a game trying to undo the election. That's sedition.

You keep saying that part about changed rules and so forth and you’ve posted nothing to substantiate it. Do you have a link? And how about something where a republican on one of the applicable committees wasn’t allowed to take part? I’d agree that would be suspect if true, but I really doubt the veracity of these claims (and so should you)

Do you mean when McConnell invoked the "Biden" rule on SC appointments? Doh!  Then again, you most likely don't know what I'm referring to. Lol.
