I think they have 15 or so cameras in different places.

Which is 15 more things to go wrong on a vehicle that already has more than it's fair share of problems.

Count me out on this one.

Well, it is an add-on. Are you saying the Chevy’s have more problems than should be expected? I have had good luck with my Chevy’s (and Honda ‘s).

Nah. Different style of trucks. I’ve seen GMCs break down about the same as Ford.

A separate backup camera attaches to the trailer.  EzPz

That's what I'm guessing.  Gotta be, right?

My friend bought a magnetic backup camera that he puts on the back of his snowmobile trailer.  There is a screen attached to a be bendable rod that is viewed from the cigarette lighter port. Same affect.

Made by the same company using the same parts.  Not sure where you get your info.  Of course, I should have known that you are a car expert too.

I know it’s made by the same company. It’s put together with different materials though. You can check it out if you don’t believe me. Just like Volvo owns multiple companies those cars are manufactured differently. If you don’t understand that then I don’t know what to tell you. But then again you’re a car expert right? 🤣🤣🤣

No, my best friend is a service manager for a Chevy dealership and has been for over 30 years.  We talk about this stuff all the time.  Same equipment, same materials with the exception of some finish parts and certain features.  For example, that tailgate on GMC trucks is not available in the Chevy.

Aight then maybe you’ll have the answer as to why GMC has more problems than Chevys do. Please. Enlighten us

Not sure how to enlighten you.  The badging and finish parts is where stuff often breaks.

Pretty much anytime I see someone buy GMC they have problems with the trucks. Chevy? Not so much. Hell just googling problems with GMC trucks this pops up.

https://www.consumerreports.org/car-recalls-defects/gm-recalls-full-sized-pickup-trucks-due-to-battery-connector-problems/

googled the same with Chevy trucks. Nowhere near the amount of problems. Could just be trucks which is what I’m talking about. Guess I should have led with that. But ford and gmc truck I see people CONSTANTLY having problems with them and trade them in for something else. My MIL just got a new ford truck 2 years ago. Already spent $15K in repairs for different things that messed up on the truck.

Either way, I still want a GMC Denali truck or GMC Sierra HD. One of those $50K-$60K trucks lol. I trust you and your friend are more knowledgeable about how it’s put together. I’m just stating from an outside observational standpoint that those two brands of trucks seem to have more problems than others

So, you base it on what you see?  That is a great data point.

I base it off that and the link I literally just posted. Notice how they recalled most of their 2019-2020 trucks. Did they do the same with Chevy? Nope. But aren’t they put together the same with the same parts? 🤔

Im trying to be nice and civil about it but if you wanna play Fock Fock games We can play Fock Fock games. It’s your choice. I only mimic the attitude I’m given

You do this all the time and it never ends up well for you.  The recall is from GM and it includes both Chevy and GMC models.  :wall:

From your focking post:

General Motors is recalling 350,371 full-sized pickup trucks at risk of electrical problems and stalling. The recall involves certain 2019-2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 models.

I’ll just leave with you’re right. I’m wrong. Sound good?

If a person were to climb on top of the invisible trailer while driving down the road, would they too appear invisible or would it look like they were floating in midair?
