You can read more about our community policies here." Apparently people were bringing logic and facts to the situation and The Seattle Times had a problem with it, so they removed the comments. He apparently tried to climb off the roof, but ended up getting stuck, wedged between two buildings. Police took the man into custody without further incident. I had to find his name through another media outlet. It was not included in this story because as you mentioned "Pretty sure that when I see “Tyrese” I know all I need to know" but this is par for the course. This happens every single day where the media will not call out a black person for something like murder. It always goes something like "police have a description of the suspect" and then they move on from there as quick as possible. I mean no one would want to get the impression that black people commit crime at way way higher rate than any other race by watching the news right? This is a jamal khashoggi type of killing where this guy tortured and then killed someone for over a day and was interrupted when he was dismembering the body. Oh I get it and we need to be as outraged at the violence against police as we are by the violence by police. Not a lot is said about that and I would hazard to guess that the former happens far more often. I have quite a few friends who are on the job, so maybe I am more sensitive to it, but if you have no problem assaulting an officer, then you probably have no problem assaulting pretty much anyone (women and kids, included).
