Many red states opened up first despite what the CDC and other health officials were encouraging. So it makes sense they would be ahead of states who stayed a little more locked down for a longer period of time. Profits over people. I'd love to see what the rate was of COVID hospitalizations and deaths among people in those states over the same period of time. I would guess there is some form of correlation.
