Studios could make their own Michael Jackson or Tom Cruise type, even better. But apparently, there's just too many damn 0's and 1's to make it look/sound right..... yet. That day is getting closer. There's several deep fakes of celebrities and politicians on Youtube already. They aren't perfect, but damn close. The future is scary. One recently surfaced of AI generated chess legends. Some don't look perfect, but the second one blew my mind: Paul Charles Morphy - American from St Louis who died in 1884 - a God among chess fans. There's no video of him and very few pictures. They have fixed that so it's tough to tell I'm stunned how good the technology has gotten in recent years. I foresee movies and tv shows someday be deep fake and impossible to detect. Movies with unlimited budgets will be cool, but I wonder if audiences will be slightly deflated knowing it's just computers and anything goes. Like with Star Wars... first few were made with puppets/models/explosions that had to look real. It was incredible, at the time. The remaining Star Wars movies were made with computers graphics.
