I gotta think when I was 16, 17, whatever, no way would that have harmed me mentally in any way. It would be hard not to brag a little though because I wouldn't want the teacher to get in trouble. 

I tend to perceive girls at that age could either be more physically abused and/or simply get more emotionally tied. But I don't know what the wimmen think about it.

And what would you be thinking, if it was the son and female teacher scenario, if you let it pass, would you be worried that somehow it would get out there and she got arrested and it was brought to light that you let it go in the first place with your kid? Like if she was doing some other student and got caught for example? Or maybe your kid brags about it and then it gets back to someone's parents?

The teacher would have to be reported because it's against the law.  I'd be upset with the situation but I'd be more understanding since I remember having the hots for a couple teachers back in high school.  I just wouldn't feel the same as if it were my daughter.  I'd be more infuriated with the daughter scenario.

While the entire 16 y/o nailing/getting nailed by a 30 y/o teacher is an extreme example, a more likely scenario that could happen would be walking in on your 16 y/o having sex with another 16 y/o.

It would still have a similar result.  The son gets a while you want to murder the little bastard that's plowing your daughter.

In this particular scenario presented the main dividing factor is you would potentially have more physical scarring or damage with a 30 year old male and 16 year old daughter vs having more emotional or mental scarring with a 30 year old female and 16 year old son. People don't see and thus don't understand mental scarring so they can't comprehend it. 

 

None of it's okay to me from a standpoint even of- the teacher has a level of trust and boundaries they are supposed to establish and adhere to and they are breaking the trust in this instance.
