I would suggest that the bigger issue for American's right now is inflation, surging energy prices, newly adopted energy dependence, open borders, murder rate soaring, stock market crashing, unjustified crazy government spending, and a liberal president that can't form a coherent sentence.

I was wondering this myself. My liberal friends were freaking out much more when Trump/Korea had their issues...literally planning for the world to end, etc. Right now, I haven't seen many social media posts or anything from those same people.

I have a hard time really giving a shiit about this story. Ukraine is corrupt as hell. Russia is China’s lapdog and a major supplier of oil to Europe. This seems like their problem not ours.

I definitely don’t want the US to commit ground troops. Short of that, we can hammer Russia with sanctions and harsh language. Not sure what else we’re supposed to do.

I mostly agree with you.  Ukraine isn't a major supplier of oil and nat gas.  But many of the pipelines that Europe depends on run through the Ukraine.

It's not a good look. Whatever you think of climate change, or any other issue, I'd recommend putting it on hold as it's kind of tacky to bring up anything about Ukraine not related to the Russian invasion for a good week or two. I speak from experience here. I despised GWBush, still do, but I now realize that I probably should have STFU about him and put that animosity in a box for a good month after 9/11.
