Brian Flores suing NFL, NYG for racism - Doomsday

So what you're saying is that the way to stop perceived racism, is through clear racism?

Besides, the NFL already has a plan that doesn't work... just like yours wouldn't.  Here's what the NFL already has in place.  Any team who loses a black coach to a head coaching job will get a compensatory pick at the end of the 3rd round for 2 consecutive years.  If they lose a black front office member to a GM spot, they get that same thing, but for 3 years.  Let's examine why it won't work.  It won't work because teams will now be handing over their competitors extra picks.  Good picks at that.  It's most likely one of the reasons why Bienemy, Bowles, and Leftwich didn't get jobs.

Now, you want to incentivize teams to go out and hire black coaches and give them extra picks even if it means... not hiring the best candidate... and more losing?  So, let's say 3 owners go out and hire Bienemy, Leftwich, and Bowles and they all get fired in 3 years because their teams have 3 consecutive losing seasons.  Why would teams be willing to take that chance again?  Teams want to win.  As I said earilier... every year these owners give $5B a year to black players.  Why on earth would they care that a coach makes $XX M?

No, I'm not promoting racism at all, you don't get it.

You're actually expressing racism by saying that teams won't hire black coaches because they want to win.

Why isn’t Eli as great as Peyton?
Are the Hemsworth brothers equally as for or handsome?
Everyone is unique and everyone has talents but without training, desire and commitment it means nothing, imo.

Peyton had more natural ability than Eli and Eli had more natural ability than Cooper.

Or were the Broncos a team that supported their QB better than the Giants?

I think you are on to something here.

We are not all equally positioned, but through hard work we can all have  good life.

Which is why I hope people without stop pretending its a conspiracy, its simply a system that rewards work.  Immigrants understand this, which is why they flock here, and then flourish.

No, it’s not natural. In my lifetime I’ve maybe made 3 baskets. I can’t play basketball. My sister is a basketball coach! We are genetically similar. I have the body of a track star. I’m sure given the training I could’ve been a fantastic athlete, but I’m too lazy.

Laziness/or lack there of, is a trait of naturalness.  You either have it or you don't.  Kobe had the natural talent and desire.  It came to him... it wasn't developed.  Kobe was going to be as great as he wanted to be, because he had the natural gifts and desire.  He had no ceiling, like may others did/do.

I don't know about that.  Everyone, Peyton, Archie, and Eli all said that Cooper was the best out of all of them.  Cooper was a WR and tore his ACL twice.  From the physical side, his body couldn't keep up... but talent-wise/natural ability, he was the best, apparently.

Yes, she's right.  The only thing I disagree with her on is Kobe.  But that's it.

Disagree.  Many many people can be coached/developed/motivated to achieve more.

Cooper retired due to Spinal Stenosis, not torn ACLs

More, yes... Great?  No.  That's the point we were discussing.  It was about Kobe.  He was great, because it was naturally ingrained in him.  He didn't develop that.

Ah, I was thinking of someone else then.  But yes, physically, his body couldn't handle it, but he had the most talent/ability... apparently.  As I said, that was according to his dad and brothers.  I think his HS coach said that also.

I think we’re all kind of saying the same thing. Maybe racism hits too hard but I think there is an undeniable factor that maybe we can call the bias that comes from being the majority that keeps the coaching staff White that won’t change until it changes naturally or forcefully. But at the current moment those in charge are picking those that they like and they like those that look like them and come from a similar background. Until we can change that we’re still a segregated society, blacks will always remain othered because we cannot pretend to not be who we are like almost all of the other immigrant groups. Also, immigrant Asians, Hispanics and Africans come from a home where they were raised for generations as whole human beings. I don’t think it’s a fair comparison.

I don’t think he likes football.
Another example against the genetic superiority theory is Magic Johnson’s son.

I didn't have the volume on.  Was the guy teaching the kid how to drop back 15 yards like Pat Mahomes does on every play?

Circling back to the topic at hand.

Does this crybaby appear to be getting any traction?

That’s the Seahawk’s QB not just a guy.

To be fair, Russ has sometimes been criticized as not being "black enough" so his son might have some recessive white genes kicking around in there.

Except both of Russel Wilson’s parents are black, he’s not mixed. That is his son but not his biological son. It’s his wife’s (Ciara) son that she had with a rapper named Future.

I was making a joke about the criticism Russ had received for not being "black enough". I wasn't saying he was mixed.

So the kid's father is a rapper?  Guess he needs to work on his rhymes and drive-by skillz yo.

If he can master the QB sneak on second and long the Giants might be interested.
