Kids have to come to school with some desire to learn, to achieve and improve.  It is not 100% the school system. And if the parents do not create accountability these kids just glide by.  Throw all the money you want at the system, it wont fix sh!t

I see these parents speaking out at school board meetings, be it about masks and remote learning, the woke agenda, safety and so on.  Parents caring. Yet I don’t see any parents from school board meetings in failing schools. Maybe they are speaking out, but we don’t see it. If they are, why don’t we see it? If they aren’t , shame on them. Then twenty years down the line we will be told about white privilege. Yeah, white kids were privileged to have parents that cared. Last I checked, caring doesn’t cost anything. Even poor people can do it.

If you can go out and protest against the police, you can show up at a school board meeting and demand that your kids go to school in a safe environment and learn how to read and write at the appropriate grade level.

It can be read either way.  He never said he received a text about who got the job, he said "he hears", which could have been someone talking to him, or he could have read it online, because all the rumors were that they wanted Daboll.

Our child's success is not the responsibility of the school board or even the teachers, it is OUR responsibility......

I do not trust nor rely on school boards, teachers or counselors or any of them.  

My kids are successful and will continue to be because I taught them HOW to be successful.  How to conduct themselves in this life and world to acquire success. This then helped them handle the uneven level of education one will receive, and this applies to college as well....

I recall once instance where my oldest was lamenting her inability to meet with the professor who kept handing her off to his TA....and I told her "you tell him I do not pay your TA to teach me, I pay YOU to teach me....." and she handled it, and ever such situation thereafter.....

My guess.... Flores is exaggerating things/jokes, because he's butthurt that he was probably used as a token to satisfy a racist rule.  I'm willing to bet Elway looked a little rough, but I'm also willing to bet Flores knew exactly why and was ok with it.  I'm also willing to bet that Ross did say that he'd pay Flores to lose games, but it was in jest.  Both knew the team was gutted before the season and both knew that each other liked Tua.
