If White men can be women, I think black men can be NFL football coaches. White men can't be women. White men also get fired from head coaching jobs every year. And there are black coaches in the league. White people get fired from other jobs too. Should Matt Nagy sue the NFL for racism because he got fired from the Bears? How about their GM? Should he file a lawsuit? When are certain black people stop with their black agenda. Stop seeing race for God's sake.

nobody 2,940 Posted February 8, 2022 At this level, merit matters, but your network is also very important, so there probably is a racial element to it. I wouldn't go so far as to say it's necessarily racism if a certain coach doesn't get hired, but people are oftentimes going to hire people they want to have a beer with unless a particular candidate is just head and shoulders above everyone else. If you want those C-suite positions, remember one thing... Your network is your net worth.

Explain this a little more. I think you forget I’m not a man. I’m going to try to put the pieces together… Are you saying the reason there are more black quarterbacks today is because they allow them to run and therefore it has opened the door to blacks who have more running talent combined with throwing vs just a strong throwing to the target talent like the old school quarterbacks? What I see is that there may be a pressure for black coaches NOT to hire other black coaches and therefore they aren't really growing black coaches. They may not want to be stigmatized as being biased, but then there is little opportunity for blacks being hired if white coaches hire from their group. You see there was a time when racist NFL owners did not give them jobs, so current people today who are qualified and have earned it have to pay for that, and give up the spot they earned.... Yeah, that seems like a great move....

It is a very different game today. The new rules allow QBs the freedom to run without serious injury. For one, not that long ago a QB could not slide to give himself up so no one could hit him. More Black QB fit the new QB role than the old QB role. It has to do with ability and talent which gave them opportunity under the new rules. There a more white running QBs today too. And to think I’ve been here a billionty years and I still know nothing about football. He meant 'slide' instead of 'side'. QBs can now slide before they get hit and the play stops and no one can hit him. Before that rule they had to be down by contact. Which was often a big ass linebacker or free safety breaking them in two. You don't know anything about football because you don't want to learn about it or you have a very low IQ. Baker Boy 1,711 Posted February 8, 2022 6 minutes ago, peenie said: Thanks! Please answer the other questions. I never saw the movie but a quarterbacks blindside is the opposite side of his throwing arm. Right handers are facing predominantly right so the left is their blindside. It’s called the blindside because the quarterback cannot see who is coming from the left when passing.

What you're seeing here and what's happening today, are the same thing. A head coach has a run of success and championships so teams start hiring that coaches assistants, hoping that the coaching philosophy is a good one and they'll bring that with them to their new team. The thing is, it's still hit or miss. Mike Holmgren's tree has a decent amount of rings and a lot of wins, but Belichick's does not. Schottenheimer's tree has some rings too... and includes black coaches. It's no different today. Owners see coaches that win and want their assistants. Each team will spend around $220M this coming season. There are 32 teams... that's over $7B spent on payroll. Of which, 70% are black players... lets assume they get 70% of the pot. That means, owners are willing to pay black people about $5B dollars, but people think that they're too racist to hire a black head coach and give him $10M a year? Really?
