Props to TommyGavin for throwing in a Zebra song. I haven't voted yet, though.

Thank GOD I missed this draft.....I just now realized I hate most 80's bands, there are only 5 artists here that I can stand.

So I will be voting for the least offensive 😎

I wanted that song.Bad!!! Great New Orleans band back in the day. Still is. Saw them many times over the years. Did coke with Randy once or thrice. He lived in the same apartment complex. He would jam on hs twelve string acoustic all night. Great musician. Great guy.

My personal favorite…

To qualify, bands had to be from one of two lists we found online. We were limited to two songs per band. No Foreigner, no Metallica, no Michael Bolton. Lots of hair with all them, but not really hair bands.

Saw Zebra open for Loverboy (lol) In Hartford Ct in 1983. They were big on Long Island and got a lot of play on WBAB Babylon, a great rock station on Long Island that I could get in my neck of the woods at night sometimes. They are playing at Daryl’s House ( Daryl Hall) in Pawling NY this June.

I saw them open for Cheap Trick back in the early 1980s. Great band. This album is a crassic!

Rusty take your aliases out of our votes. You're the reason there's open voting.

Is there nothing that doesn't turn to sh*t when you get involved? What a POS you are.

Poll: Yes/no, I want Rusty to reveal all his aliases - The Geek Club - FFToday Forums

The human bowel movement, Rusty, has pimpadeux plus two of his other admitted aliases voting in our poll for some reason.

TJ Booker hasn't cast a vote yet ?

You can tell who voted for who because bostonlager made this an open vote.

By following that link, Rusty has previously told us straight up that he's Pimpadeux, Indy Colts Fan, and Soloist.

:pointstosky:

Dream Theater included a cover of this, along with several others, on their Black Clouds and Silver Linings album.  Didn't actually realize it was Zebra that had the original.  Figured the song was from an older band based on some of the other covers.

Then start listening to real music, not this made for acne faced teen suburban boys and idiot chicks who all looked like Pat Benatar.

Horrible genre of music. Of course, I did vote for your sh1t list though.

I will say the Motley Crue show I went to years ago was one of the funnest I've ever attended. It was all about nostalgia and having a good time, and the music was a soundtrack to that. No one gave a shat about how well they played, even though they did play well. It was more like a metal version of a Grateful Dead show.

Not so much, a few of their songs I liked. My tastes lean toward more bluesy, guitar driven rock like SRV, Santana, ZZ Top, Allman Bros, Cream etc...

Hair metal was all about speed guitar and image. Music sucks when it's more about what you look like than how you play and sound. The world is full of fast guitar players, but the ones that play with balls and soul are rare.
